Ying and I do quite a bit of traveling and I've shown you some of the places we stay on our trips, from Airbnbn apartments to hotels.

But I still haven't yet given you a tour of the house we live in in Bangkok, Thailand!

So here's our house - we're renting it right now in Bangkok. We live along with Ying's parents and her sister. There are five adults and one baby living in this house, and we still have 3 extra spare bedrooms!

Bangkok, Thailand living expenses / cost of living:
House rent - 20,000 THB ($601.69) per month
Electricity - 3,000 THB ($90.25) per month
Water - 250 THB ($7.52) per month
Internet - 1,200 THB ($36.10) per month

Overall, for the area we live in and the space of the house, for Bangkok we're getting a pretty good deal. You can get much cheaper places living in rural areas of Thailand, but in the city in a good location, this is a very good deal.

I hope this living in Thailand, Bangkok house tour gives you a good idea about living conditions and houses you could potentially rent in Bangkok.

Thank you for watching!

Mark,,,no wonder you always have a smile on your face. You have found true happiness in every aspect of your life from home to family. Your passion for food is also your source of income which is wonderful to be able to achieve. Yet through all of your blessings you remain humble, kind and grateful. You are a great example for your son.

Mark is humble, always smiling. Despite his impressive earnings, Mark is down to earth, not lavish, not showy and not flashy at all. He and his family live simply. He lives with Ying (his wife), son, parents-in-law and sister-in-law in a big, spacious mansion in Bangkok. Besides viewing his food reviews, I enjoy his accommodation / apartment reviews and airline food reviews too. He is so positive, he is able to turn a basic and simple accommodation at $25 per night in Cambodia, to one that is exciting, archaic and a treasure. Hats off to him la!

Id assume Mark is a multi-millionaire simply judging by his success on YouTube. Yet he remains close to his roots. I love the humility of his lifestyle. Such is life when one knows true peace. Congratulations bud.

    Simple house+simple man+simple life+good food=great channel
  • I love they didn’t clean up and showed how their home is normally. Most people try to look super clean

This dude is keeping it real! What I’ve noticed about him is that he’s eaten all around the world and his reviews are always so positive. I’ve never heard him say anything negative about any kind of food he’s had. Good for you Mark, living life to the fullest.

Like a lot of people mentioned. Mark is one of the most humble and sweetest YouTube influencers. Especially someone with millions of subscribers is very rare. I would love to see more of Ying. I would love to see a series with Ying’s mother. Both Ying and her mom cooks. Love to see their favorite recipes or what they always want to try.

Its so refreshing to see a 'normal' family home. As aposed to all these perfectly custom designed, perfectly polished, perfetly organised homes that Ive been seeing lately from vloggers. Your home is a real homey home. It looks lovely. Thank you for sharing.
  • @LibuseKarich
I love it that you keep your life simple and not materialistic. Family matters to you a lot. That is the Asian way, me too!
  • Mark is the best example of how being nice and humble (which is for free) is loved by everyone
  • @JackYM78
I don't care how messy it looks but your home has heart, warmth, normal living and most of all you are real full of happiness and joy for what you are doing and have acheived. No money in the world can take that away from you.
  • Such a sweet humble man. I love his travels and admire him for never leaving his wife and child behind❤
  • @JacobChacko3008
Mark is not doing this to be a multi millionaire...he's doing what he loves to do and for this he gets the rewards he deserves
  • Dude is a legit millionaire by now but still lives frugal. Nice to see
