I think these days almost all hobbyists and PRO RC pilots use multi-protocol TX16S sometimes T16 with OpenTX and even better with EdgeTX. I do not believe that these Spektrum Rx are at least one parameter better than the one I mentioned, there is no chance. And after installing lua scripts such as INAV Lua Telemetry to TX16S + ELRS module, it is simply in another dimension compared to Spektrum and 1.5-3 times cheaper. Other than that, this Youtube channel is awesome, keep up the good work.
  • I grabbed on of these recently after I joined an RC club to finally learn how to fly properly. It was really helpful since the guys at the field were more familiar with Spektrum stuff and the NX10 was pretty easy to buddy box with my old DX6i. I didn't really mind the OpenTX stuff, but it seems like many folks are intimidated by it.

Another important point is that you can use differential on your ailerons when you're setting up a plane with an asymmetrical airfoil.

A lot of people watch videos and forget to give a thumbs up. I think that a lot of people with a channel forget to ask for that. Don't be afraid to ask for that. Even if I didn't really find the video 100% helpful I'll usually find something that was helpful. I'll give you a thumbs up for the time you took to make that video and be helpful to everyone.

Ya you need more channels so you can put install brakes!

Excellent video thanks for sharing. I have a DX6 and looking to purchase the NX8. Telemetry, WIFI, and BNF Models loaded sold me. I donated my DX6i to friend who just started. DX6 will be my buddy box.

It would be nice if you specifically disclose in the video, and/or description if a product that are featured in a video were purchased, donated, or sponsored. The current disclaimer is very generic .. "I am sponsored by some of the products I mention", and leaves some confusion. No need to redeclare a previous sponsored items like a 3d printer if used to build a plane in a later video; but if first use of a product, it would really help viewers to understand context of brands shown in video. Not expecting American Airlines was a sponsor for this great flight demo. 😜 Knowing you received a plan/STL for a plane for free, or a motor was donated for a build would raise level of ethics a level above most YT channels and would earn extra level respect. BTW: very impressed at how well you have that 3D printed jetliner flying in this latest video. Amazing job.
  • Hi Troy sorry for the off topic. I wonder if the bigbboper printing on LW PLA does a better job instead of the regular PLA? What's your opinion? Congratulations for the channel Vítor Lalanda
  • Hi m8. Thanks for the great vids. Helping a noob out no end. Could you please tell me where to find the landing gear files for the Icon A5. Thanks again.
  • What is the lowest priced 3D Printer available in the US that you would consider actually worth purchasing? I see some different 3D printers and I haven't seriously looked into them yet as far as the detailed specs. But I see these brand's like Ender that make what looks like a decent sized 3D printer to make smaller & medium sized parts for like a RC Plane and they're not too expensive now, 11/2022, i think 300$ for the starter kit. Everything seems included except for the plastic rolls of material..

I tried spectrum, had JR and Futaba years ago and have since moved to open source. My TBS Mambo is the best so far…amazing price and just killer range…my other radios have since gone into storage.
