Actually Wanda started as a villain in comics , however she later turned sides . However due to Wanda being not too stable mentally she did become villain sometimes

The vendor spelled to hit himself was Bruce Campbell, and this was a callback to the Evil Dead movies (where Raimi got his start) where Bruce's hand got possessed and attacked him.

Don't know if you're familiar with the Fantastic Four, but check out the 2 movies of the team that has Chris Evans. This was before he became Captain America. Also the F4 have a movie coming in the MCU, but it's unclear is John Krasinski will be returning to the role of Mr. Fantastic

This movie is pure Sam Raimi goodness. It has the Army of Darkness vibe to it. Adding Bruce Campbell was a plus.

In an interview, Elizabeth Olsen did say something about 838 Wanda being divorced from Vision and that he was still alive in that universe. Wanda wasn’t wearing any wedding ring so it is implied that she has some sort of shared custody with Vision or something lol
