Kevin Kilbane and Mick McCarthy’s English accented renditions were hilarious and absolutely class 😂😂. Massive respect to them for being dedicated to our wonderful nation unlike pretty much everyone else

I really wish Ireland could have make at least the semi-final and also love their national anthem. My favorite team of all time, wish that they can bring the magic back in 2022, it was the last time that they were at the World Cup, I have been a fan of the Ireland National Soccer Team. My favorite player on the 2002 team were Damien Duff, Shay Given and the others as well. My favorite color is green and it is the Irish color.

South Korean football fans in 2002, myself included, were inwardly terrified of Ireland beating Spain in this match, as they had twice turned a match that could have been lost in the group stage into a draw, proving that the tenacity of the Irish team at the time was not far behind that of the Korean national team. Even in this match, Irish team threatened Spanish team all the way through.
