2151g to make the HALBERD viable? - Dark and Darker

Just some advice coming from a viewer perspective. Personally I like seeing all the crucial parts of the gameplay like building the kit, going over perks and skills, then in game everything like finding a good item or pvp, close calls maybe getting fucked by pve. Just more crucial moments rather than clearing out pve with not much happening. I don’t know what other people prefer but I like shorter maybe 20-30 minute videos filled with action and shit happening rather than pve and looting. I know a lot of my friends dont like the long 1-2 hour videos just cuz we often end up skipping through a lot of it. None the less I like the video idea going off the meta👍

I really appreciate how you reiterate what it is you stacked on your kit and why during the runs. I usually don’t care for the buying process and it adds a lot of context even after skipping the build process. Great vid!

As a barb main, I totally agree with you on the achiles strike/blood exchange combo. It's strange they work together like they do, and because they do, the abilities individually are quite weak.

any time I'm trying to find really good pieces with specific rolls I always set the static attribute filter to weapon damage, then the random modifier +weapon damage if you deal physical damage and you can just add the numbers up side by side makes it so much quicker I made a similar build with a longsword that I got to 329 ms so when I'm holding longsword I'm only 1 point away from cap and can easily catch up to any other class, but it is not cheap

Problem with halberd is it is so slow and it has a pretty bad sour spot where you land shaft hits, especially if rogues or slayer fighters crowd you. Better off with the Bardiche if you want to do a build like this but props for trying to get it to work for budget. The second jab on Bardiche with a high dex build comes out very fast and initmidates most players from enagaging close but you want like at least 32 dex for it to really shine so the build gets expensive. I really hope they buff the halberd because I would love for it to be more viable and maybe make the third hit a cross slash instead of a diagonal downward strike.

You might hate me for this it be interesting to see a Rogue video from you and be nice to see haha but love your vids keep it up.

hey ive been playing dark and darker for a bit but when i play i get hit by desync every couple of minutes and when i watch other people play they have no desync why is that? also keep up the good content man

I bet this build would go crazy in a 3 man team comp where you have faster team mates to catch, the long range could help you stave off stronger teams and protect your mates - I really think fighter polearm is underpowered due to monkey brain W key forward strat's being consistent and easy to initially learn

what about just running a castillon as a secondary? I used to do this way back when there was only 1 goblin caves (longbow was also very good). It's weird to see halberds so cheap they used to be meta.

I swear if halberds spike because of this ima be livid

I feel like halberd is most viable on a high dex build if nothing else
