They seriously need a Meg cam for this whole concert. She was in a different dimension for this!

I could literally watch Meg play all day. She and Jack compliment each other musically perfectly. She has the solid steadiness and minimalism that matches with his eccentricities. He might find more talented drummers, but he'll never find one more perfectly suited to his style. She's amazing!

Jack White is one of my favorite musicians and anytime I watch the White Stripes play I can’t take my eyes off Meg.

What makes Megs drumming so good is that it's the sorta style when someone hears a good song and they go all-in with the air drums when no one is looking..
  • Was she the best drummer in music? No. Was she the only, and most phenomenal drummer, the Whites Stripes could have ever have? Yes. Meg is top draw in music history.

I remember thinking at the time, "this could be better", if I met younger me now I'd slap me into paying attention, this is phenomenal.
  • I always thought it was cute how they'd end the show holding hands, facing the crowd as if they're saying, "yep. it's just li'l ol' us that did all of that."
  • @randykern1842
Meg is so fucking graceful with that percussion. It comes off so effortless
  • @mackymac3479
She's a phenomenal drummer. Perfect in every respect. One compliments the other perfectly.
  • Watching this in 2022 and i have to say, I really miss Meg playing drums. She was amazing. Wish she would come back.

There's a moment that captures just how synchronised the two of them were. At 1:01:55 during Screwdriver, Jack just starts hitting that central riff before going off piste entirely at 1:02:25. Meg seems a bit thrown, but starts up a rolling beat which he immediately hooks into. They start competing with each other to up the tempo before at 1:02:46 Meg hits the cymbols and they both immediately fold back into the final verse. Incredible synergy.
  • Meg gets so much shit, but her job and performance is so stressful. She's incredible.
  • The whole like 10 minute long ball and biscuit sequence is unbelievable wow
  • @frais5310
This is probably the best preformance i’ve seen so far, Jack’s rage when singing Let’s Shake Hands was fucking fire
  • @chrisridenhour
I don't understand how this can almost be 20 years ago
  • @anandmorris
2005, the last time i can remember being happy for a prolonged period. Take me back!
  • @benwitte8832
Meg is always intriguing to watch. This is a band that I could listen to for hours. They're so dynamic.
  • @Shiniiee
I miss them. I miss Meg. But that's what makes them special, I guess. You cherish something way more when you have a limited about of said stuff.

i grew up on the white stripes, i’ve ALWAYS been a fan, i got to see them live a few times as a kid and i’ve seen jack a couple of times (once with the raconteurs and the other as a solo show at a bernie sanders rally in detroit), but man, what i wouldn’t give to see them live together again now!!
