Launchers would be 10 times more popular if we had pre hardmode and pre plantera options

issue is that the weapon type only comes in the last third of the game most other weapon types can be found throughout almost the whole game

The thing with launchers is that most guns can do a lot of what they do good enough, and since you can get guns throughout all your progression rather than at the later parts, people are just more drawn to what they know. I do feel like the Nail Gun is my favorite and used it a lot during my first playthrough back in mobile 1.3

After watching Sockriteez's vid about the Snowman Canon launcher and trying it myself, it's become a main staple whenever I do a Ranged run

My favourite ones are the celebration and the snowman canon!

Well, Range - the class that most often passes me by, but I have put together a good set of accessories for it (Which I even compiled as for archery/crossbow and firearms) But what about missile damage? It would be nice to have some fantastic-bombastic missile damage accessories. (even for a damn yo-yo they exist)

In my ranger playthrough, I keep the shroomite helmet in my magic piggy bank along with a launcher. If I need one, it's a quick switch. I have both rockets that can and can't break tiles.

Launchers are cool, but you know what's better? Throwing Class

I've only really ever used them for digging or liquid management, maybe I should try them out at some point They are post plantera though and that's a very short time period of usefulness considering the obtaining methods for some of them

I've always loved and used launchers so I just assumed they were common lmao the sphere launcher always stays in my endgame hot bar and snowman cannon is just plain op but I just get disappointed when I can NEVER get the nail launcher

I once did a "Specialist Ranger Sub-class" playthrough and once you get to the rockets the fun factor multiples by x1000

Electrosphere is one of my favorite niche weapons in the game, I use the Sky Dragon's Fury for its alt-fire which shares its projectile with the Electrosphere, and they're such a blast to use against large, stationtionary and/or segmented enemies.
