Emkay, inflatable plane was surprisingly safe. That’s not rubber or anything weak that’s air mat. The main concept was to drop 100s of them behind enemy lines for downed military pilots to fly them selves back into friendly lines. While a few of them did end up crashing in testing, they ultimately failed because the concept itself was stupid.

The inflatoplane could actually inflate itself continuously using the engines power. It's biggest issue was the control wires getting tangled and causing problems.

0:58 it was actually made to be able to sustain such damage, by continuing to pump air into the aircraft, even after inflation. It did have some reliability issues, but overall it was functional. What put the nail in the coffin was actually the issue of finding enough space to take of.
  • 4:25 Actually, this is probably an antique plate, with the warning added on after. Some china used to be painted with lead paint, so if you eat anything acidic on it like tomatoes you would die of lead poisoning. They were actually so ubiquitous that people actually had thought that it was the tomatoes that were poisonous, not the plates!
  • 7:29 ok, but unironically I love this. I am weak for good puns in advertising.

It's hard to believe that some of these were deliberately designed like that, and approved by management.
  • @05TE
1:50 That might actually be illegal if it's for employees. I don't work with restaurants but the types of buildings I do work with require one RWC per floor. Edit: Also, those handrails are not to code. Edit 2: Yes, I am fun at parties. Why do you ask?

The floating stairs are not intentional, he just ran out of blocks while playing minecraft

3:07 I guess you could say that with all that smoke, the PC may as well just be an Unidentified Fantastic Object

7:36 I have no idea what you're saying but it was hilarious "Please ERRMURRV"
  • @mavcotm8006
9:31 they probably cleaned the mess for the picture and put the stuff out of frame on the ground in true roommate fashion
  • @Giganotus
Touhou being on the monitor of the burning computer is hilariously fitting

I'm pretty sure the Inflatoplane was something for the military, from what I remember was made for stranded pilots that got shot down in enemy territory, small enough to be dropped from a pod on a plane or pushed out the back of a cargo plane in a very compact way. It looks dangerous but it wasn't exactly for commercial use, instead to possibly save lives

6:40 thermodynamically a wooden door handle also gets hot. But the thermal conductivity of metals is way higher than that of wood (like 100 x or sth.) which is why metal feels hotter to touch because the heat gets transferred to your skin much faster. Though, funny enough metals have severly worse heat capacities that most wood

2:42 really hits home. Nothing beats transport around Durban South Africa
  • @aetherinfuse
I'm pretty sure Jack made all of these designs for just chaos and fun. That's why he knows so much about the designs

8:03 Was not expecting to see kids have the potential to get head trauma from a giant Pringle chip. Once you pop, you just can't stop!
