These webinars are helpful in so many ways, but they have a crucial limitation.....time. A user has to wait for a relevant topic to come up, wait for the webinar and then slog through an hour-long presentation when perhaps only need help with a small portion. The current documentation is rather limited in the sense that it does not explain concepts or tie multiple concepts together. It merely provides a definition for the various tools and the user has to figure out how/why/where to use that tool - what it's limitations may be, what traps they can get into etc. As a professional - I RARELY have time to spend an hour participating in a webinar with hopes of getting something useful. If I do get something useful but cannot quite remember - I have to wait a week or two for it to be posted on YouTube. What I would love to see is a constant stream of short videos that cover specific areas placing vias, editing existing traces, polygon fills, push and shove, net classes, etc, etc.... There are already some of these but no consistency or logical syllabus being followed. When I run into a challenge in the middle of a tight deadline project - I want to gain some understanding as efficiently as possible so I can solve my problem and move forward. I logically planned series of short videos organized in playlists could cover critical concepts and tipe-and-tricks. My questions are usually 'Why would I use that tool?', What could I do with that tool?', When would I need that tool?', 'What tools would I need to accomplish task X?'

Please Autodesk, spend Jorge a new microphone or proper audio interface! its so annoying, always that quiet sound!
  • How does a publically listed multi-billion dollar company not have a video editor on staff that will go through the presentation and balance out the audio? I get the impression that Eagle division is starved for minimum resources.

What is accepted today as artwork is truly sad; the 'art' in the work is no longer considered worthwhile.
