Thank you for being part of the Maker’s Challenge. To tackle something out of your comfort zone, good on you. I have always been fascinated by Bismuth; its peacock colours, the crystal formations but the fact that it can go from a whiteish solid, to a heated liquid and then , to a solid with beautiful crystals seems magical to me. Well done on preserving to find the best way to create a pendant. I agree that silver wire would look amazing and I look forward to seeing more videos of you perfecting this form of lapidary pendant making. Well done Kurt.

Dude, that was well worth the wait, what a totally killer project. I love how those turned out, your favorite being so cool. I did. It was a bit easier using a bigger container to just toss in how much you need and melt it all together. I still have a bunch of it that I didn’t use. You can also pour it melted in a deeper tablespoon type container and the crystals grew in a half globe like building blocks. Looked like a cross section of the Death Star 😂. It’s fun to play in.
