My father was a well-known Chicago radio personality, starting in 1951, ending in 1995. He typically brought home fistfuls of great LPS that were given to the station as DJ-Promo albums. We initially had a couple of copies of this album, but a few years later, my dad found an entire rack of this LP in a hardware store for $1.99 each (or something like that). He bought them all, so we've been swimming in Wally/Angela's arrangements (with their MEGA- reverb) for the past 60+ years. LR

THIS is the style of Christmas music I grew up with. THIS is what was played on the radio or as background music in a grocery store or basically, any retail sales outlet.

This album is THE soundtrack for Christmas during my childhood and young adult years. We wore this album (the MONO version) out. I am happy to now own a CD copy in stereo, as well as copies of the original score and instrumental parts for "The Holly and the Ivy" in Wally Stott's own hand.

Best Christmas album ever!

VERY underrated album + rare treasure from that era of pop holiday LPs. NEVER knew about this 1 until today

Growing in the 1960s through the early 70s my parents would ply so many great Christmas albums. I've always been grateful for those times. To be honest this is the first time I have heard of the Wally Stott Orchestra and Chorus and it is as good as anything else I have heard. Thanks for upload and thanks for keeping this album current.

Redo=Rescan. One of the great Christmas albums that you might not have heard of. Some nice warm songs for a cold winter night. Cheers!

My father did not have this album, he had Ray Coniff, 101 Strings and others. This is a wonderful album with songs that are never heard anymore.

Until now, I never knew that the song Happy Holiday was from the movie Holiday Inn. I have never seen that movie. This is another great Christmas album. Love that shiny gold album cover and that old gold Warner Bros. record label.
