Political experts weigh effects of SCOTUS’ Chevron decision

It absolutely amazes me when you listen at 0:55 people acting all surprised that like courts have to interpret law. Like, you know, what they are supposed to do per the constitution. As for 1:20, don't make ambiguous law. In fact, we as a people should never accept ambiguous law. Can you imagine if criminal law was ambiguous AND we had people advocating for "the state" to just interpret it? Yikes. Congress needs to do their fucking jobs (like the guy said at 1:40). I'm so freaking tired of people just wanting "fast" solutions to everything. The American system has ways to change EVERYTHING. It's just slow. But it's possible. Use the process, it's slow, but use that process and go through that process to get your change. Put your zoomer attention span to the side, and just relax and use the systems provided to you instigate change you want.

gridlock for environmental protection is the predictable result- the decision means a great deal less clean air and water. Congress could pass a law that expressly requires federal and delegated state agencies to follow and apply the Chevron Doctrine, but this is unlikely in the current GOP controlled Congress or Senate.
