This bloke hits 4 swish shots in a row and wins 3,000 dollars and a guy who hits one half court gets 75,000? Seems legit

Later he changed his name to stephen curry and was drafted to the warriors

R.I.P. Fisher Floyd -- died in a plane crash aged 30, three years after this video. He is survived by his two children, and he will always be remembered as a basketball legend.

"WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH, WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH, WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" -Crazy Announcer

He made all four of these shots in the first try. People call them Fisher's Swishers. His death is also an anomaly. He wanted to fly in a fighter jet and was able to do that because he was the highest bidder at a charity event in Dallas. The flight was cancelled twice due to weather, but the third try was on a clear day, so up they went. Both Fisher and the Vietnam Vet pilot crashed without any distress call and there were no witnesses. R.I.P. Fisher.

Rest in Peace Fisher Floyd. What a life.

Every basketball player's dream... to be the guy chosen at half time, and make those shots!! Very cool!!!
-
$3,000??? I'd be PISSED!!!!! There are people hitting 1 half court shot for $75,000 for other teams! Dude did 10x's that and only won $3K???? The Mavericks are a bunch of fucking cheapskates....

I think this perfectly demonstrates how fast things can be given and taken away in life and how cruel and random fate (or whatever you want to call it) sometimes is... Getting a sequence of those shots in your first try is astronomically unlikely. Many people called him "a lucky son of a bitch" after that day. Little did they know fate would turn its ugly head a couple years later. Pretty depressing, but I guess that's life.

Reminds me of the movie semi-pro where the guy makes the shot from the other foul line and the tropics don't have enough money to pay him

Later that night on ESPN... "76ers draft unknown fan at Mavericks game"

The crowds reaction, his reaction, the announcers reaction, all priceless. I'm glad he got to enjoy that moment in his life.

Fisher Floyd, 30, of the Park Cities, was a passenger in the small vintage fighter jet that crashed, according to friends of the family. Floyd, who has two young children, won the flight in an auction, according to a family friend. Burns, who played basketball with Floyd, remembers him as a great friend, a great basketball player, and a fervent Mavericks fan. “He sat behind the Mavs bench every single home game,” Burns said.
