I'm glad these comments show that if you say "Bearer of the curse" everyone immediately thinks "seek seek lest"
-
Bearer of the curse. Seek souls. Larger, more powerful souls. Seek the king. That is the only way. Lest this land swallow you whole, as it has so many others.
-
Don’t mind that Bearer of The Curse, he’s just seeking the King and Larger Souls.
-
I was fully expecting Bear Seek Seek Lest coming into this tbh
-
At first, I thought the curse was "unnatural spryness" but then my conclusion was less certain as the episode progressed. As an aside, damn I wish I could animate as well as you do.

This guy is bringing back 2010s internet horror

The thing about quantum immortality is that your conscious will only exist in where you survive, so you will never experience the shift to the 'alternate universe' it will be like you were always there.
-
"hmm... today I will seek larger souls (clueless)"
-
My dreams may be weird, but they’re not quite like that.
-
I think about it too because quantum immortality is less likely to keep an entire universe existing forever in the same state than to keep a single human brain forever after heat death
-
"Bearer of the Curse. Seek souls, larger souls if you wish to break the Curse"
-
I feel like humans weren't supposed to discover this side quest for another 40 years...
-
"and then theres the part where like what if you just infinitely get your life prolonged by matters of milliseconds at a time to the point where you are just a garbled mess of barely firing neurons." Damn so I'm not the only one that thinks about this? I mean it sounds bad but at that point my brain would be so deep fried that I wouldnt even be able to comprehend it. Honestly sounds kinda peaceful, like some pyschedelic euphoria until the end of time. Or maybe I'm just actually insane.

I mean quantum suicide is interesting, but slight correction; according to to the many worlds hypothesis, every possibility creates an alternate universe. So if there’s a decision where you either die or you don’t, according to the quantum suicide hypothesis, you must experience the universe where you don’t die, as in the universe where you do, you don’t exist anymore. So the universe you are in is a possible series of events from the point where you would have died. It’s still possible your immortality could be pure suffering, but only if a malicious force puts you there.
