i am breaking down my analytics and showing the growth of my channel in 2022!
when i first created my channel i constantly asked: how much do small youtubers make? how much do you make in your first month? 6 months? year? how do they grow? so now that i am starting to figure out the answers, i thought i would share what i have learned!
i love these videos and thought i would make one myself sharing my growth journey on youtube. all the time i wish i knew when my favorite creators got monetized, how they grew, and when they hit certain milestones, so i thought i would create a video highlighting that for myself.

I just got monetized two weeks ago ! I came across your other videos relating to this topic right after I got monetized. I started making videos in February of 2022 and I can honestly identify myself with your YouTube growth story, it’s motivating to see how much you have grown in a short period of time ! Congrats !

I love this. I started my channel and got monetized overnight. Literally. I did a live show and woke up to 5k subs. My first month I made $3,700. But doing true crime was rough. The trolls and drama pushed me away in just a couple of months and I stopped posting. I wish I kept going and just ignored it all. Great channel and I wish you all the best. Keep going!

In the past few years I've seen people going from 0 to 100k in less than a year, growing so fast. But as you say, every journey is different. And it's so nice to see a "normal" growth story. So thank you for sharing your story with us! and for the reminder of never giving up.

You are exactly correct in your assumptions about what people like me were looking for in your intro, about wondering how well people do in small-midsized monetization projects. I'm not a YouTuber, but a mobile game developer, and I've been looking up vids on how much people made from their apps.
