The Celtics Just EXPOSED The NBA Media But No One Will Admit It

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown just won the NBA championship with the Celtics, but the media won't apologize for what they did these entire playoffs.

Despite questioning who’s the best player, despite saying the Celtics can’t win shooting that many 3s, despite picking the Mavericks, the Celtics stayed focused and had a plan.

Now I’m recording this as the Celtics are winning thinking how did so many people get it so wrong.

The NBA Finals doesn’t just change legacies, it changes what other teams will look to model after and the Celtics won the championship by completely rewriting the narrative of what a great team is. *And no it’s not just the analytics.*

Reporters, analysts, the average fan are used to a different model. A superstar duo, or a big 3.

That’s what we’ve seen for the past decade. MVP Curry, LeBron, Curry and Durant, MVP Giannis, MVP Jokic, and close to MVP Kawhi.

So even though the Celtics had 5th highest victory margin in NBA history, even though the Celtics had the best offense in history, there was doubt. And doubt is natural, but it was for the wrong reasons. It’s why Nick Wright’s last comment was the narrative.

So it boils down to the players. I didn’t make this video to just celebrate the Celtics, congratulations to them by the way. No I wanted to look at how we evaluate teams and why we need to change it. Specifically what the media refuses to talk about **and I got the receipts**, so let’s start with a look beyond the numbers for a second.

The Celtics have several players who are capable of being the best player in any given moment, but there’s a difference between the most talented and effectively the best.

Thanks for the amazing season! Get ready for the offseason, it only gets better now!
  • Jalen Brunson also hit it on the head. The media wants Jayson to average 30-40 points instead of doing whatever to win even if that’s not scoring. They’ll praise players who go out and jack up 30 shots but tear down someone who settle for 17 shots and get 8-10 assists. Really just toxic basketball

Some people really be forgetting it's a TEAM sport
  • That's why Boston does not need to listen to anyone because we showed what everyone forgot basketball ball is a team sport
  • Me - "Why do you hate the Celtics?" Haters - "I don't know I just do"
  • The media has been wrong constantly throughout the regular season and the playoffs. Celtics exposed them for like the 100th time this season, it's nothing new. Guys like SAS, Perk, Windy, and Nick Wright are constantly wrong and making fools of themselves. Mavs constantly exposed them throughout the western conference playoffs, and now the Celtics exposed them after the finals.

Tatum is the best player. Dawg deadass lead the Celtics in points, assists, and rebounds

Honestly this the first chip since the 2015 warriors where most of the credit goes to the front office for building such a good team, not just to one or two players.
  • How can yall say tatum is not near luka? I love his game but the defensive gap cannot be ignored

It’s why I dislike the post Jordan nba. People suffer mvp brain rot and forget continuity depends on good balanced teams.

ESPN all got it wrong because unless they are discussing Lebron, they don't have a clue what they're talking about

I'm glad I didn't rely on the media to tell me what to think. Anybody who picked Dallas values hype over hoops.

The Celtics dynasty has begun 🍀🤍💚🔥🏆 Long win the National champions

Where the Mavs Fans at? Oh wait they gonna be screaming Celtics had an easy road blah blah blah man ya'll just salty cuz ur team aint lifting the trophy 😂😂😂

As a Celtics fan, I'm so glad Tatum was smart and didn't take the bait and listen to Jason Kidd. He had a rough shooting series, but it was partially due to Dallas focusing on him. I believe their strategy was to do a 2004 Pistons game plan where they played shaq one on one and focused on Kobe hoping his ego would force him into jacking up bad shots instead of finding shaq or another Laker.

The moment SAS picked the Mavs the guys that make the trophy put the Celtics name on it.
  • @alimfuzzy
It was obvious that the celtics were going to win, you just had to look at how they dominated the entire season. Mavs were one foul off potentially losing to OKC and you think they are going to beat the celtics!?! What surprised me was that after game 3, the mavs werent swept.

That Documentary they were filming this season is going to go so unbelievably hard.

All these talking heads got it wrong, but this old retiree got it right, it didn't take much looking, Boston was the best team from start to finish, best record in the league, offense was top notch, and defense, well just ask Kyrie... If I could see it, why couldn't all these high price talking heads and ex-players figure that out, they picked double back-steppin, foot shuffling, no defense playing Luka, and with Holiday all over Kyrie he was as useless as a submarine with a screen door, Dallas was the 5th seed for crying out loud.....Yet these "experts" picked THEM to beat the best team in the league last week, but today they're all talking about how great Boston is, these flip-flopping no sense having mouth pieces, they all should be PAYING the networks for airtime.
