SonAmy VS SonAlly - Sonic Comic Dub

I really like how Ian Flynn wrote the dynamic relationship between Sonic and Amy, it truly feels like their character development is slowly evolving. Dude should be the head writer for every future Sonic games

After playing Sonic Frontiers, I can confirm that Sonic is so admitting his feelings for Amy now. "Amy... I should've made up my mind sooner"

Fun Fact: Amy did a tarot card reading on herself, stating she'll marry a brave powerful hedgehog who's name start with an "S".

To be honest, as much of a hopeless romantic and sucker for SonAmy as I am, as a child of the 90s and lover of originals I like Sonally just as much. I honestly wish there could be a universe crossover type thing so we could have both at once; (two Sonics, each in their respective relationship, but in the same universe so everyone could finally have closure and be satisfied. King Sonic and Queen Sally ruling the Kingdom of Acorn, and Hero Sonic and Amy protecting it. If I was an animator, I would definitely make a show like that: Picture Sonic Prime but Traditionally animated and featuring the Archie/SatAM universe, Underground Universe, Game/Sonic X universe, and Boom universe. Comics like this give me hope that such a thing could be possible, and I hope maybe one day I can be part of it.

In Sonic Frontiers Sonic says “Wish we were sharing an umbrella Amy.” Which I think is really sweet and can be seen as both platonic and romantic. To be honest I’m fine with both because I see Sonic and Amy as being friends with crushes on each other. I also found this on the Internet. Fun fact: Sharing an umbrella as a couple in Japan is considered a romantic expression, and teens often draw an umbrella with their name and the name of their crush, the way one would in a heart. Google also says: 相合傘 has a strong romantic implication, stemming in part from a play on words. The first two characters are pronounced あい (ai), the same as the word 愛 あい (ai, “love”), and thus the connotation is that both people under the umbrella are in love. The more you know. 💙💖

Honestly I like both ships, my favorite is Sonamy but Sonally is cool to. I like the fact that this comic shows both of the ships in a conflict free way because I am so used to seeing people get at each other's throats over these to ships and it's just refreshing to see a peaceful view of them. But yeah I'd say I love Sonamy, relate to them a lot, and I ship them heavily in the mainline universe, but I don't mind Sonally and them in the Archie universe.
