The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) Official Trailer 2 brought us here! 🙋‍♂

it would be so awesome if the the trailer starts with Katniss singing the Hanging Tree and slowly her voice melds with Lucy Gray's voice and then falls off to let Lucy finish the song.

Spoilers for Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes What I always thought was interesting is how in the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Lucy Gray writes Hanging Tree and uses it to signal to Coriolanus Snow to flee district 12 with her so they could escape the reach of the Capitol, just for Coriolanus to betray Lucy Gray, and then years later Coriolanus becomes the president and face of the Capitol, and Lucy Gray's song comes back to lead the rebellion ultimately leading to Coriolanus's death.

One of the main reasons I'm excited for this movie is the new version of The Hanging Tree we'll hopefully be getting. It's definitely the best song from any film soundtrack, possibly my favorite song period.

Hunger Games are returning in November. Can't Wait to see Lucy Gray Baird singing and in Action. Rachel Zegler is going to be phenomenal.

I know he was going to go crazy/evil based on his interaction with Katniss but I was still rooting for Lucy/Snow to make it. It’s been a while since I’ve shipped a couple so hard. They had so much Chemistry. ‘Why’d you have to go crazy Snow’
