You’re standing on the building, looking over at all the destruction you’ve made. “When is he gonna show up... he knows I’m impatient.” You mumble to yourself. Just then, you see him hop out of his car and run into the building. “Why doesn’t he just fly up or teleport, or at least have a faster car? Maybe super speed? Don’t all hero’s have one of those powers? It’s a waste if they don’t, they need to get to places quick.” You look at your watch as it ticks, phone in hand. You can hear him at the door that leads to the top, he’s waiting for the clock to hit 12:00. He was always one for effect over efficiency, you think to yourself. As the clock hits 12:00 the clock on the building next door rings and he steps out. You both hit your playlist play buttons at the same time. “Oh, uh... this again...” “Rock paper scissors, as always, right?” “Yea, of course.” “Rock... Paper... Scissors... shoot.” He throws rock, you throw paper. Why does he always pick rock, think to yourself You hit play on your playlist. “Okay, let the battle begin.”

"So... why am I here exactly?" I asked with a smirk as the detective entered the interrogation room. "You know what you did." He frowned and sat in front of me, laying down a heavy file beside him. "I thought it was obligatory for you guys to answer questions when they are asked," I sighed, "guess you are not that good of a policeman." He stared at me with anger and opened the file that I could proudly name my biography. "Arson, attempted murder, the kidnapping of Kathlyn, Robin, and Sherry Clawren, the eight bank robberies I am sure you made, the evading of the authorities, the murder of twenty-six cops and eight judges." "Come on, you have no proof of any of those things. How can you be so sure I did it?" I chuckled, "admit it, you just missed me." "Oh, but now I have proof." He always ignored my best flirting attempts... how annoying. "I found you walking into a house that is not yours and burning it down to the ground." He smacked some photos on the table, I looked at them closely. "Not me," I said finally and reclined the chair. "That is obviously you!" "Impossible, I don't remember doing that. You know I am a proud guy, why would I lie if it was me?" "This is too much! There were no survivors! What the hell did that family of four do to you?!" He finally snapped, took him long enough. "Nothing to me..." I sighed. I reached my pocket and showed him my own proof. "But they did do a lot of nasty stuff. This was in their basement." A torture chamber, full of bloody tools and chains was in the photos, a camera used by the family to film everything they did was nearby too. He looked at me perplexed, "why wouldn't you report this to us?" "Cause you are slow as fuck," I laughed, "am I free to go, good cop?" "Of course not! You still murdered an entire family!" "I will take that as a yes," I smirked once again before a loud noise forced its way into the room. "Took you long enough!" I screamed at the mess of a friend that was already setting bombs everywhere she could. "Yeah, yeah, I know." She grunted, "that fucking wall was thicker than I thought. Do we kill this one too?" She pointed at the detective, now trying to escape from the heavy concrete laying on him. "No... I think he could understand, with time." I smile as we both rushed away from the new crime scene my companion created.

He wasn't what many thought a "villain" would be. He would laugh in a tavern, remove his helmet to eat and drink and always amile when he talked to you. Nobody expected he was actually a criminal on the run. As full of life as he was, you'd be forgiven for thinking he was just a free spirited type, showing any who asked all the unseen nooks and crannies to climb up a building or get a good run through alleys and rooftops, perhaps that kind of knowledge should have tipped off someone, especially as others turned up dead whenever he arrived to a new town. But such a kind man and ever charming mage with a compliment for anyone he met couldn't have been the cause could it? The only thing truly unusual about him was the bulky black helm of polished iron with nothing more than two eyeholes bored into place gave him an edge in conversation against those he deemed undeserving of his kindness, many said that helm housed a second personality all it's own when he wore it. The charming kindness replaced with an almost shaky eagerness that wracked his entire body. He seemed to stim a little more often, hold things tighter, even laugh at nothing with the uncharacteristic shaky voice that took over. Though none saw him as a villain. Perhaps the crown was wrong? Or was the crown his true foe, and the small folk just privy to the kindness of a soldier's respite from his own war to fight?

The day is never complete unless 3 requirements are met 1: Feeling badass 2: Listeneing to music 3: Smiling. These villain playlists check them all off immediately and I love them.

There’s a warlock in my dnd party who’s backstory is that their patron turned them from lawful evil to lawful good. She doesn’t seek power relentlessly anymore, but she definitely has retained some lawful evil tendencies. My favorite quotes from her is “I’m a better person now, but through no choice of my own” and “Who would care if we killed [evil minion]? The villains? We care about what they think now?” It’s really fun to rp with her, because everything she does could be seen an act of evil and good at the same time.

Yet another story for another villain playlist. As I stood before her at the top of the building, I held out a bunch of roses, dripping with some blood from my hand. Tears fell slowly down her face. "W-Why did you do this...?" "Did I do something wrong-" I mutter quietly. "Was this not enough?!" I screeched at her, at the one I loved, the one I did this all for. "W-What...you killed...you killed them..." My hands shook as I moved to wipe the tears off. She trembled as she stepped away from my fingers. "They wouldn't let us be together! I had to...dispose of the opposition-" "So what! They could've come round!" I blinked, slightly ashamed, but this had been done for HER! I become a VILLAIN for HER! How dare she be ignorant of my love- "I guess..it's my time to leave" She stared confused at me. "A hero will choose the world over you, a villain would kill the world for you." I murmured in her ear. I turned. Let myself go.

You walked across the street, ducking your head back and forth to see if anyone was watching. You gently swiped open the door of the abandoned building, and walked in. You removed your fedora and slid down your jacket to your waist and tied it. You hastily ran upstairs and stopped at the sight of her. She was standing there, just watching you. “Took you long enough.” “I had to get through security with the gun, how long did you expect it to take 5 minutes?” You responded sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and handed you a box, filled with a knife and a note. “I’ll see you at the office. Don’t take as long as this time, we gotta make this mission fast.” You pulled out the bot which said: Take this to Thomas. He’ll help you through the security and hand you better weapons. Placing the note back in the box, you pull back on your fedora and walk down the stairs, slowly and smoothly. Let’s do this. PART 2 😋 You skidded across the street to the garage and got in your car. _Thomas_. He’s one of the top assassins out there, so how in the world would you do this without him turning on you? You arrived at the train station where he was. “Thomas Corel?” “That’s me.” He was hiding in the shadows and you slowly approached with the box, handing it to him. “Ah yes, Taylor sent you. Come.” We both glided into the shadows with no trace behind, and you looked behind to see the walls closing in. It was dark. Then it grew dim, but more visible. A light grew and pierced the black shadowy blanket. It was a room filled with gadgets and weapons, and crystaled bottles. He reached over and handed you a long golden dagger with a black leather handle. “Use this only once, and your target will be dead. Is that clear?” You nodded. This was going to be easier then anticipated. Pulling Thomas over and against the wall and his eyes widened in realization, you jolted the dagger into him, and he slipped down. the vibe this playlist gives summed up in a short story. The villain straightened the cuffs on their red velvet suit as they sat at the theatre, taking a seat at the front row. They knew the hero was looking for them, but they also knew the hero had a passionate flair for acting. So the villain sat, waiting for the show to start. A few moments later the curtains opened, and the hero was standing centre stage reciting some stupid monologue about how they could be dead tomorrow. To the hero, the lights blinded everyone in the audience, so the couldn't see what was going on. The villain knew this, and that was why at the end of act 1, when the curtains closed, they made their move. The villain ran backstage, and replaced the fake gun that the show's antagonist was going to shoot the hero with, and replaced it with a real one.
