If Stranger Things was released in 1994, Natalie Portman would definitely have been cast as Eleven.

Natalie at 13 had more confidence, intelligence and personality than me as an adult.

You can tell this is new to her and she's so sincere. Not at all an industry kid. Fidgeting, nervous laughing etc unlike other child actors

I have no idea why YouTube suddenly decided I should watch videos of young Natalie Portman but she's so lovely and adorable and I am watching so I guess they were right.

Strange to think she's now older than Conan was during this interview.

I like how she innocently told the joke about Larry King's head between Andy's legs.

She's a little gem, what a bubbly personality for a 13 Yr old, lovely woman she's turned out to be. Leon was great film.

Conan is a genius. Dodging awkward moments constantly with on-point punchlines, and witty remarks.

1994 child actors wear a jumper and a tshirt. 2020 child actors wears clothes/fashion that were tailored for ages 30-45.
  • This video makes me realize that she would have been a good Eleven.

You can see why she was cast by watching this interview alone. The energy she gives off is powerful and she's obviously smart for her age. It's been great to watch her career develop over the years since this movie.

Jean Reno, needs to be protected at all costs man. A truly unforgettable masterpiece, and a touching film. With such a perfect cast of the Underrated Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, and so many others, it literally created a film that was perfect with such a strong emotional, action-packed storyline and what a soundtrack. Honestly, one of the very few films, that you can truly say has no flaws, and one that everyone can agree is perfect. With such a low budget to work with, created a true masterpiece, A film, that'll never be forgotten.
