Great video, as always Mario. Especially for expats, who are dealing with this as we speak. Keep up the good job
  • As always ,fantastic information Mario, I may need to get in touch with you soon for more suggestion/ advise— your Maersk Colleague
  • @royjohn.
I agree it might be exceptional but all 3 of my apartment shifts in the last 5 years has been via FB marketplace and I’m therefore a big believer 😀
  • Hey Mario, are you planning any video about insurance companies in Denmark?
  • @PinUpNya
Mario, thanks so much for all your videos, they`re life saving ;-). I`m moving to CPH in 2 months and am in search of apartments now. Would you say it`s better to first find some furnished short term accommodation and find a long(er) term home while being there? I`ll arrive not sooner then some 10, 14 days prior to my first working day. Also, my work is in the center (Amerika Pl.) so I wonder if there`s any area you would specifically recommend (or the opposite). I have a dog and wouldn`t like to live too far, leaving him home alone for a very long time. Grateful in advance for any useful feedback!

Hey Mario, thanks for the video! You mentioned, that cpr number is required for the contract. This is the first time I'm hearing it and I got a little scared. I'm moving to DK as a freelancer ( as an EU citizen), and I'm probably not going to have a local project for a while. Does it mean I can not rent an apartment?
  • @LIBONI88
Thank you for the video, very useful! Just a question. Do you need the resident permit or the CPR in order to find a rent? Thanks
  • We're moving from Japan to Denmark. We own in Japan but have to rent in Denmark. We don't have much time to do research as the company accommodation is very short term. There's a lot that we don't know. We actually don't know what we don't know. Would it be unusual to visit a lawyer or real estate professional to ask if our rental contract is fair? We'll be in a smaller area so we'd have time to do this without the property being taken, but I don't know if this follows proper etiquette. Thanks!

Rents in Denmark are much cheaper compared here in Daly City, California. A one Bedroom here in Daly City is $3,000 a month plus utilities. This is only for a Single Person. So Expensive.

Hey mario thanks for the videos. Is it a viable strategy to obtain a rental contract at a market rate and then try to get the rent suppressed by rent control? Do you know of anyone who did this successfully? Can the landlord kick you out after you’ve done this…? I’m in a short term let at the moment and want to find a more permanent place!
  • What is the "Move-in price"? Is bey bey money? Or like a deposit?
  • Such a great video! What happens if you do not have a CPR number yet? I'm a EU citizen and if I was trying to get a place as someone who wants to move and get an apartment as soon as I move, what can I do about it? CPR numbers can take some time correct?
  • Great videos, Mario. I'm not sure how to put this in a nice way, but I see you're using the 'youtube facial expression thumbnail' a lot, I don't think that it's working for your target audience. Looks a bit silly :)
  • Hello, is it possible to live in Denmark with 14000 dkk in hand,; 4200 dkk per month, no deposit, fully furnished, cleaning products and toilet paper and all utilities included in the rental price., more 800dkk per month danish classes? this is fixed costs i know. Thank you!
