Bonus tip: When you build that island in the sky, I suggest that you dig a crater underneath it so it looks like the island rose up from the ground and bonus points if you make the crater as deep as the island itself.

On my friend’s SMP I dug out the ground and shifted it 12 blocks up to create a floating island. It looks amazing :))) took me like 4 hours but it was worth it
