you woke up in a rush, thinking you were late for work, you run out of the apartment after getting ready really quickly and realize you’re actually an hour early. you go into a coffee shop to spend that time, and there’s light music playing. you sit down with your warm coffee that you take with a few creams and no sugar. as soon as you start sipping on it, it starts raining outside. you’re lucky you got inside when you did. you’re just sipping your coffee now, finding the peace admist the city that never sleeps. some serenity in chaos.

This music is an antidote to the stress of life.

2:09 AM in the midst of an early winter morning here on the east coast. My wife and kids are peacefully dreaming away in a comfortable sleep. This music just lifts me out of this fog that society tends to toss me in. The music puts me in this space where the pandemic, global inflation , price gouging , violence, and financial matters no longer are of immediate importance. Ladies and gentlemen, If you are alive , have what you need, and are happy, then life is good. Please remember that your universe delivers exactly what you feed it. Positive vibes only. 1:07AM. My parents are sleeping, and I'm here listening to jazz hop, relaxed and without problems.

This music makes me think of weekends and summers spent at my grandparents home in New York. Grandpa always had the coffee & newspaper ready by 8am & would be listening to music like this. Grandma smoking her morning cigarette while reading her book.

Cold, windy and rainy February day. Sitting in a library with a perfect view, sipping my coffee, doing some serious reading and listening to this. Couldn't ask for a better ambiance!

This music makes me remember the quiet nights, driving on empty roads with the skyline in front of me. This city is the only place I can find the downtown-hometown-posh-yet cozy feeling :)
