  • If you hold the pitch button down in classic mode it will end up vibrating at some point. This is the point of release for an accurate pitch. This point is different depending on the pitcher. The goal is to time the release of the button just as it vibrates or learn the pitchers specific spot in his windup to release the button.

When you said “ If you played Skate vs Tony Hawk that was a instant like and follow ! Great Vid also and I dunno I have not played this game since 2011 but I’m playing again and I really love meter for 23 call me crazy I guess lol
  • @sygfaker
I was legit going crazy trying to figure out why I kept walking every single person with this setting.
  • @SuperHesuss
Thank you for a very good video. Helped me alot.
  • I started on Classic but thats because I've been playing this game series since it was MLB Pennant Race on Playstation 1. Since they added meter to the series I've used it ever since.
I wouldn't mind it if they added "crosshair" from the MLB 2K games. I liked using that style on the 2K games.

Thank you for the detailed tutorial, I was LOST but IÂŽm getting strikeouts now :) I need to practice both base stealing and protecting base stealing, hopefully you make a video of that! Thanks again sir!
  • @mark4406
Thank you for this. I'm brand new to the series because MVP 2005 just holds up but the RTTS mode and the Negro Leagues sold me on it.

Can practice mode be done with your created road to the show character?
  • @jayboogs6965
Yes but How do you get to classic from the gameplay setting?
  • @Joseph-rx9tp
What does the red and yellow mean when you flick the stick up in pure analog? Can you get a green?
  • @cbfbmc
in the show 23 where the setting where catch call and the pitch location in the box show up.
  • @brianchambers1617
How do u get your 4spfb velocity to hit 40 attribute I have done everything possible
  • @GamerHudson
Holy crap. Pinpoint.....the whole time i have been just flicking the stick drawing the pattern and trying to hit the circles.
I didnt know you could wait that long to go down and finish the pitch. I thought you had to do the ENTIRE MOVE before he threw the ball. No wonder my pitches are so damn bad
  • @larryowens4302
How can I change the pitching mode to old school ? With the baseball and red arrow
  • Hey man I’ve noticed that when you pitch on Xbox the catcher doesn’t throw up suggestions for pitches and different locations like MLB the show 21 and 22 did is there setting to turn that on ?
  • @falcon1378
I’ve always used pulse, never tried anything else. One thing I’ve always done is go, “Five, Six, Seven, Eight.” Or “Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve.”

You’re not always going to get the result you want, but once you start consistently getting “Perfect” timing on your pitches it’ll start getting harder for your opponents to hit what’s coming at them.

It is not the best way to go about it, I imagine there’s a much better system, but it’s the one I hold dearest to my heart lol.
