Yes indeed! I have had my set now for like three months. I use them with my Yeti mic and the combo works flawlessly! That combo is even cheaper than most high end brand gaming headphones. Love them, glad you have changed over. Crinnacle is awesome!

With IEM's I started at everyone's default recommendation of the Moondrop Arias. They were nice and worked well although I had no other reference, then I wanted to get something extra nice and on black friday sale I picked up the Sennheiser IE600 for half price ($500 AUD) which Crinacle says is the only good IEM they have made. The Sennheiser IEM's are so much smaller in size and so much more comfortable than any of the Chifi IEMs. I know Optimum Tech really likes the IE300 which you talk about in your video, I would just recommend getting a new cable for it (I got the Linsoul Tripowin Zonie), Sennheiser use a proprietary MMCX 3.5mm connector, so you have to cut the little plastic white and red rings off the cable to get them to fit, but its worth it.
  • i bought zero reds while ago and biggest upgrade was when i bought moondrop dawn pro dac/amp that made them much better than before. and i don't have to crank volume higher than 60%.

Since you have the astro a40 mixamp what do you have on the volume knob sliders thing? how do you setup up the IEM with the astro a40 mixamp?

Moondrop Chu 2 vs Truthear x Crinicle Zero Red vs Final Vr3000 What to choose for gaming please help ????

I feel like you've suddenly been unplugged from the matrix and now you "get it" lol. Best advice i can give you is upgrade your amp. Get rid of the astro as it will be holding you back and it's not like the xbox 360 days where we needed a voice chat-game sound mixer as most of that is now available via software anyway. A good quality dac/amp (even budget) and then over time slowly try out other iems and proper headphones. Enjoy your new hobby but be careful, some of us fall down the rabbit hole of constantly obsessing over sound and chasing something that will never be satisfied.

can you elaborate more on the volume issue you mentioned? do you mean they never get loud enough? like you cant hear properly?

I tried IEM for the first time. After a lot of reviews i decided to order Tangzu Wan'er, praised by a lot of audiophile for being among the best budget IEM. Some even placed it S tier first position before some more expensive IEM like Truhear Hexa. Anyway, at the moment i use HD560s and HE400SE. I am not a seasoned audiophile but as soon as i plugged in those IEM i could tell that they sounded really bad. I guess i was expecting too much. Comfort wise it is also terrible, i tried, i will stick to Headphones.
  • how do they compare to your a40s i have a 40s currently thinking about getting iems
