In an interview years ago Korey says “I died a long time ago” my heart breaks for him

Did you hear that?? She had to humanize HUMAN children, because some people are so evil. they don't get it.

Shout out to Netflix. They have allowed a many of stories to be told respectfully 🙏🏼 and of course Ms. Ava 💯

The actor who played Korey is one hell of a talent. Episode 4 was beyond emotional and made me cry 😢
  • Those boys should have gotten AT THE VERY LEAST $41 million each!

You need to interview Jharrel Jerome! He is the guy who played korey wise in “when they see us”. He is sooo talented!
  • I cried and cried and cried....and held my son soooo tight!!! Especially on the last episode with Kory....i crumbled!!! Powerful stuff

Ava, your work on “When They See Us” was phenomenal.

S/o to all the black creatives telling stories that need to be told 🤧
  • This is why players take a knee. Amerikkkan justice system is not broken. It is designed that way. It's a replacement of slavery and slave patrol.
  • I loveddddd that she added Marci in the film and how Important Kory’s sister was to him coping while he was in prison. That was my favorite part! He loved his sister despite her being trans. That was unheard of back then. RIP Marci ❤️❤️
  • Ava should produce and direct Black Wall Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 1920's
  • It is soooo important to get black people to tell stories about black people. She said the men were very comfortable with her. I can't help feeling that had to do with the fact that she is a black woman, "one of them". AVA and the Central Park 5 have revived a fire in my belly. I wanna fight injustice. Thanks Ava! #SeatAtTheTable

I think the young man who played Korey Wise will receive a Emmy, that was one of the most poignant performances I've ever seen.
