I loveddddd that she added Marci in the film and how Important Kory’s sister was to him coping while he was in prison. That was my favorite part! He loved his sister despite her being trans. That was unheard of back then. RIP Marci ❤️❤️

It is soooo important to get black people to tell stories about black people. She said the men were very comfortable with her. I can't help feeling that had to do with the fact that she is a black woman, "one of them". AVA and the Central Park 5 have revived a fire in my belly. I wanna fight injustice.
