Motherload is a fun game, but a very stressful speedrun. The game centers around mining materials, and upgrading your equipment. Eventually, you make it to the bottom of the mines and discover a very weird secret...

My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!

Man the nostalgia of this game. Those random gas pockets would scare the crap out of me as a little kid
  • @karloveliki5373
Didn't even know there was a final boss lmao. As a kid I never had the patience to even get that far down

"I'm never doing this again" - Eazy Proceeds to dump another 10 hours of his life into another nostalgic flash game right after this one
  • I'm actually amazed that this game can be completed in 15 minutes. Why was I so bad as a child

I used to spend so much time on XGen Studios as a kid. Stick Arena Balistick, Motherload, Stick RPG, etc. So many awesome memories.

Dropping down into the mineshafts you dug is incredibly frustrating in this game, since your horizontal speed never seems to come to an absolute halt, so during any drop into them, your ship inches very very slightly into the horizontal direction that you last moved toward, leading to you sometimes taking completely unexpected falldamage when the game detects you to have hit one of the ground tiles surrounding the vertical tunnel you intended to drop into.

This game dude, holy shit, I couldn't wait to finish school to get home and play this game. The messages you would get from Mr. Natas and the miners and shit creeped me the fuck out, and I was so excited for what I would find. Naturally, being allowed very little time on the PC and being shit at the game, it took me ages, but when I finally reached the bottom, after all the speculation and creepy messages, it blew me away man. Love this game.

“Plot twist of your life” absolutely holy fuck ive never finished the game i had no idea!! I used to love that game but i could never guess the drop right
  • @Polygonetwo
Aww, I love this game. Pretty sure the randomly dying when digging dirt is from gas pockets doing damage, which only instakills if your hull is trash. (Which it was, then.)
  • @StrafeWasTaken
Immaculate performance Speezy, you've done it again: speedran a game which I can't even complete normally. Well done my friend.

I remember getting to a bedrock like rock that I couldn't break and thought it was the deepest I could go so I called it a day there. Never thought there would be more than that.

DAAAAAAAMN finding out about the last boss after like 13 years since i played this game on a windows XP really surprised me
  • @TwoTailedGamerYT
Dude, falling straight down a dug hole after going back down from the surface would literally scare the sh** outta me, cause all who played this game know that not even the best hull upgrade can protect you from a 5000 ft drop, and you fall fast, so timing it must be really hard, especially for a speed run

If EazySpeezy can speedrun this, he can speedrun anything.
  • This game has a sequel! I feel like almost nobody knows this, but XGen made a new Motherload called "Super Motherload". It's absolutely worth playing

I played this game to the end UNSPOILED. What an epic twist at the end that I never saw coming. One of the best flash games ever made.
  • @MegaMinerd
I remember this game. It wasn't one of the top things I played, but there were a good few hours put into it.
  • @BackSet
"This game can break a man." Basically describes your average EazySpeezy video.

When i was playing this when i was early teens i alway though the depth you were going in this game was insane, now working as an actual miner, it not so bad, in fact the deepest ive been is around 10000fts deep, i can tell you its hot down here but it usually start to get warm beyond 3000fts, and air pressure is quite higher, in fact my old Lacross watch does calculate roughly -10000fts from air pressure.

GOD this game looked so realistic when I randomly played it when I was like 4.
