This Temple Guard Saber-Staff was LE to only 3000 back on 11/12/21. Why does Disney so notorious for making LE merchandise?? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
  • Actually this one is the most accurate to the clone wars. The one you used as a reference is the one from Star Wars rebels, which the first one was based on, the one from the clone wars show is nearly perfect to this one. But still great review!
  • I’m honestly super impressed that you not only put out quality videos and review things in depth, but that you work with your son so well. You both do great in the videos and your patience is through the roof. Keep up the awesome work!

I’m obsessed with that wooden connector with that new saber
  • @deaconpoole7577
Interestingly enough, the Box Set Temple Guard lightsaber was actually made to be more accurate with the Clone Wars tv show! The original Galaxy’s Edge saber was based off of its design in Rebels, but then fans kept comparing it to the Clone Wars design, so now Disney has made both designs, so fans could (hypothetically) choose whichever design they prefer.
  • @Connorjoyce0254
You’re comparing it to the rebels version. This one is 100% accurate to the CW version
  • @SAGAtoday
Lol sorry guys the images you referenced is from Rebels, this is the clone wars version and the original hilt is the Rebels version. But I am sad to see the wobble and weakness in the foldable coupler is a common issue, I wish they made that sturdier regardless of using it to duel, spin, etc
  • @Eva_H
I never liked the older temple guard lightsaber, this is more accurate to both TCW and Rebels. The episode you were alluding to is from rebels season two not TCW Not only that hopefully we may see Pon Krell from TCW as his hilt has the same split design on both his dual wielding lightsabers. I really like the crate packaging also, looks really cool. Great to see Landon back in vids.

What do you guys think about the different paint job?? Would you rather have the original Temple Guard colors??
  • @CraftMotion
BOTH Designs are accurate! I really don't know how everyone gets them messed up but there are two different types of double-bladed Temple Guard lightsabers. This golden one resembles the weapon featured in The Clone Wars and Rebels (in background in the Jedi Temple were Kanan grabs the red lightsaber) and the older white one resembles the weapons used by the Guards exclusivley in Rebels (also Luke uses a single-bladed version in the comics). The golden TCW weapon is an actual lightsaber pike, extra long stiff hilt with two Shoto blades. The white Rebels weapon is not a lightsaber pike rather a foldable double bladed lightsaber like "Darth Rey's" with normal sized blades. One's a pike with short blades, one's a double lightsaber. Completely different fighting styles are required here wich makes them two completely different weapons although featuring the same components for the most part. If you want to build an accurate lightsaber pike from The Clone Wars you indeed need these newer golden lightsabers in conjuction with the solid connector and two small blades. And if you want to buil an accurate double-bladed lightsaber from Rebels, you need two of the older white lightsabers in conjuction with the foldable connector from the new set (although it's gold while it should be white) as well as two longer blades. But I'm very happy you noticed afterwards. You are the only YouTuber I know that notices the difference😂👍🏻

I’m more excited about the potential this has, this means we’ll be getting a dark rey saber staff
  • @starkiller9897
They sold out so quick, would love to see alot more of the Jedi temple guards in something, a series, book or even a comic anything I just think there's alot more story to be filled in about there ways!
  • @z-3to204
Great video! Disappointed this was just 3000 units, hopefully they release a more available version one day, without the hefty box.
  • @extrojan22
Would love to see a video on your collection and how/if you display any of them. I recently started this super expensive impulsive hobby to my wife’s dismay and now have most of the sith sabers. Keep up the good content.
  • Nice!! I’m most likely keeping this sealed in my collection! Since I’m a lightsaber collector lol! Love the review! ❤️
  • @WestonHarris16
You guys are awesome, always love and appreciate the vids. Idk why every time I see the two of you looking at the camera it reminds me of the game cover of the most recent god of war. Could be a cool cosplay or Halloween costume for you guys.
