FBI identifies gunman as Thomas Matthew Crooks in Trump assassination attempt

It remains unclear why Crooks fired shots at Trump as the assassination attempt is being investigated. The FBI didn't disclose the shooter's when they spoke during the news conference.
Authorities explained that the shooter's DNA and biometrics were being examined during the ongoing investigation. The rally site in Butler, Pennsylvania is still an active crime scene.

How the hell would the secret service let a rooftop not be secured before the candidate reach the podium? It was approx 160 yards away from the stage. Secret service main job is to investigate all these possible places.

You dont need eyes to see this was an inside job. A 20yo, no military training, evading detection, climbing a mysteriously unlocked ladder to a roof perfectly positioned to Trump with no SS presence, and was able to prep for minutes while onlookers spot and warn officials.. this guy acted alone? BS.
