  • I love it when someone talks about Italy without mandolino, pulcinella, fake gestures used in the wrong way, weird accent and every stereotyped way! Very nice!

When I was a child, we had a macadamia nut tree in our back garden. There is nothing like eating a fresh nut from the tree. Thanks for taking us around Alessio's home village.
  • I love the Italian way of life. So much slower than the US. When I was in Italy I soaked every bit of peacefulness in.

I am 100% Italian, and my personal rule for cappuccino is: never after a meal and never too close to a meal. Time of day doesn't matter. 😊

As someone who grew up in a small farm town in a twin river valley in Minnesota, so much of this video reminded me of my childhood. Life's just different out in the country. You have room to breathe, you can hear yourself think, and people treat you like people rather than like chores or obstacles.
  • Tks for bringing back memories..... I spent almost a year there in the Army, some - ahem - decades ago. Alas, Alessio wouldn't have been born yet!
  • What a wonderful place to enjoy life. I especially like that stopping to speak with people you know is more important than rushing to a planned destination. Bravo!
