Wow Dr. Brown is seriously the definition of class. Literally operated on a kid for no money because he felt bad about how he was feeling. Big ups to you man
  • @Dusballin
Man, when Dr. Brown told the story about the gynecomastia case, it brought tears to my eyes. As somebody who struggled with their body image as a child, I can empathize with that kid and man I am not sure some people can completely comprehend how impactful that operation was for him. That was awesome.
  • This is the exact path I want to take into becoming a plastic surgeon. I start General Surgery residency July 1st. How I wish I could shadow Dr. Brown before I start this journey. This interview PUMPED ME UP! awesome work!
  • @anasays589
Dr. Brown is so down to earth and inspiring. This was an amazing interview. I love his answer about having dinner with his 5 year old self. I love that he didn’t go with the typical/expected answers for your lighthearted questions.

Hearing him talk about doing surgery for free is really inspiring. I wanna be a spine surgeon some day and I know I will be doing pro bono surgeries often
  • @Lukether
Doc seems like a down to earth type a guy that you could grab a cold one with after a case or something. Lol loved this
  • @lacey1714
He’s so cool. So laid back. Loved hearing his stories 😊
  • @lucyolson8890
I STARTED CRYING DURING THE STORY ABOUT THE 17 YEAR OLD OMG. DR BROWN IS SO AMAZING.
  • I was surprisingly happy when he mentioned the whole “psychiatrists with a knife” thing because I want to pursue plastic surgery but was struggling with picking an undergrad major. I ended up choosing psychology but was kinda iffy about it since i’m going into surgery.. now i’m really confident with my choice :)

  • @nassalspray77
Great to see another non-traditional entry route experience! Always more interesting than the pre-med straight out of high school!

To some this a petty issue but having a thyroid issue for 37 years: finally had my post Graves Disease lids fixed. (I 131 at the time) Love love love my plastic surgeon. I’m 68 now and ok with aging but not only don’t look crabby/ tired anymore BUT right eye had 50%, left 30% and had no idea how much field of vision I’d be getting back. Amazing. Grateful that’s all I’ve ever “needed”. Bless what you do. Retired nurse: 4 yrs scrubbed in out of 41 years. Dang managerial changes to scheduling. Lol Loved it.
