Today i'm taking this Amtrak sleeper train for the next 3 days from New York City all the way to San Francisco. This epic journey will see us cross the entirety of the USA by rail, all whilst living onboard the Lake Shore Limited and California Zephyr. I'll show you what it's like from Coach, to Business Class to First Class, what it's like to eat onboard in the dining car, the observation car and for the first time the Amtrak Sleeper Room Suite! What's more I'll explain how I booked this... spoiler it's not cheap!

So great to see you traveling with both your mum and dad on this one, Will, and welcome the whole family to the US! It's a very big place, ocean to ocean, and it was nice to see it via train with you and your family. I've often wondered what traveling by train would be like, and while it looks interesting, I love driving too much to give it up, lol. I highly recommend returning to Utah to visit the 5 different National Parks in our state because they're quite beautiful, each in their own way. My family and I try to catch every National Park near where we vacation, and I have to say with each one I've learned a greater appreciation for how beautiful and varied the scenery is in every state. Thanks for sharing your treks with us! ❤

The second day on the Zephyr is the best day on any Amtrak trip. I did that day on my 60th birthday.

If you haven't seen it, watch the iconic Chicago Union Station scene from the movie, "The Untouchables" starring Kevin Costner, Sean Connery and Andy Garcia. It takes place on those same marble stairs.
