I love the fact that Vecna showed Nancy his plans in an attempt to scare her and instead of running off whimpering like he thought, she went and bought an arsenal of weapons and came back to kill him. He really underestimated who he was fucking with when he poked that bear.
  • The development of Nancy from a lovestruck hormonal teenager to a full fledged investigator/ monster-killer is insane...

I think the reason they took El's power in season 3 is to show other characters are also capable of fighting without El and it's awesome.
  • I love how the makers did not put all the burden on El simply because she has power, they gave a good amount of importance to the rest of the team. Shows everyone is powerful in their own way.

One thing I've learn from stranger things is don't mess with Nancy when she's holding a gun of any kind

You know what's cool about season 4? Usually, they all come together, come up with a plan, and then break off into their groups. But in season 4, they had 0 communication with each other. The Hawkins group had no idea about El fighting Vecna in Max's head or Hopper fighting the Demogorgon. And yet everyone contributed, it was really cool
  • The moment when Hopper charges at the Demogorgon with the sword and the drums start to play its already epic as hell. This totem remix is just so good 10/10.
  • Something about hearing Nancy's boots as they hit the wooden floor over the soundtrack, intensity in her eyes, while the lyrics "running up that hill" are said is such a badass moment
  • I love how they mixed their theme song with Kate Bush's music. This soundtrack is magical
  • I would give anything to go back in time and watch this for the first time again! It was pure perfection, the music, the setting, Hopper, Nancy, EVERYTHING!
  • Whoever decided to use Kate's "Running Up That Hill" in the soundtrack is an absolute legend

Don’t know if anyone has noticed yet, but this was most definitely a D&D raiding party! Hopper was the knight facing the demogorgon. With the rest of the party facing Vecna. The barbarian (Steve), Sorcerer (Robin) throwing a fireball, and archer (Nancy) for the ranged shots. And Eddie the bard for the distraction. Pretty dang cool honestly.

Nancy’s whole sequence of her taking down Vecna felt like justice for Barb and Fred; she finally charged and destroyed the thing that took her friends and that had caused her so many years of guilt and grief. The look on her face after Vecna is thrown OUT OF HIS OWN LAIR was so satisfying. She is not a force to be messed with.

You can feel the rage in Nancy with each shot she shoots. From losing Barb to the invasion of her town, you can tell she’s full of vengeance and retaliation. I love how the writers have evolved her character from a shy, innocent and easily-manipulated girl to an actual person who Vecna now fears.

Was I the only one who was crying from how impactful and powerful this scene was?
  • @julsdotcom
i love how they made everybody had their own badass moments in this scene

I’m praying that this remix will be in one of the official soundtracks, because I can’t get over how incredible it is.

Hopper is absolutely a true warrior. He literally fought a demogorgon with a sword and slay it like a badass. This is the most awesome, beautiful, and badass episode of them all! CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 5!!!
  • Nancy, one of the greatest character developments in all of television since Carol from The Walking Dead.
