One my favourite songwriters of recent years. Look at the songs she wrote, some belters. I’m glad she gave this to Kylie, and I think it was the right choice. This version would have been a throwaway dance hit. For Kylie, it hit because it showed a side to her that people weren’t expecting. It was commercially current but needed someone capable, with a 40 year career to take it worldwide.
