The one thing that would’ve made the new set even better is if there was at least one other member of the Brotherhood with Magneto. Probably the most likely ones that could’ve been it it would be Mystique, Sabertooth, or Toad.

It would be great if as a $15 mech set they did a buildable Sentinel and a Jubilee minifigure for it to hold.

You know, it’s really funny that first X-Jet was considered so overpriced for the time. I remember when it came out, everyone shouting that $50 was too much for the 300+ piece set. Now though, looks like a bargain compared to the price of the 2024 set. Times they are a changing!
  • We NEED a UCS X-Mansion with Wolverine, Professor X, Jean Gray, Cyclops, Beast, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Sabretooth, Silver Samurai, Sentinel, Toad, Havok, Mystique, Mastermind and Spider man, plus some students and a couple of Acolytes and a small X-Jet!
  • The new jet is a slight improvement but the old set overall is so much better

The 2014 one was cool at the time but this new one is such an upgrade imo. The pointed nose cone looks a hell of a lot better and more realistic. The new Wolverine is a bit of a downgrade but the new Cyclops is cool, wish he had duel molded legs. Rogue looks good, glad we finally got her after a decade and the new Magneto is accurate to the show but the new design of him in X-Men 97 I'm not a fan of. The 2012 Magneto is easily the best of the three versions Lego has done.

Magneto helmet is definitely missed in the new set. I say Lego is holding back on X-Men.

Weird that both storm and rogue have the same hair piece too! 😂

The new set actually looks really good.I'll just have to wait until it's discounted at a local retailer near my house which generally has most sets on a discount especially the overpriced ones.I`d be surprised if many people but it day one
  • Agradezco de tener la version del 2014, ya que en 2015 empece a comprar los sets de LEGO Marvel y me gusto
  • I own the 2014 one and are planning to get the new one and I think I prefer the build of the new one but the old one is more worth the money

Overpriced but at least it looks good. Still better than the Hoopty. If it was $65 I would be happy even if it’s still overpriced. $85 is ridiculous

Wolverine is a character first came out in 1974 so that original Lego costume is from that era when he joined the X-Men so 74 through 1980 or whatever like that and then like you said the second one is from the cartoon
  • Only catch are the minifigs for me. I love the Rogue and Storm. The sentinel could be much better and the x-birds are average for $65 or $85.
