💀I love your relaxed style of your set up. No pressure to do perfect lettering and spreads. As a new bullet journal enthusiast and no experience with art, it is so helpful for me to see that using washi tapes and scrap paper you can make a lovely set up. Thank you. Amazing spreads! Love every single one of them. It is so sad that your teacher discouraged you like that. When my students do their art, I always tell them it's great. I wanna build their confidence and the artwork will improve over time when their skills improve. I do not worry because I am actively and constantly teaching them new things. I felt so disappointed when a kindergarten classroom teacher one time threw away their artwork that was supposed to go home. They worked so hard on that piece, I felt they felt their efforts were not worthy of admiration. That scarred them. Now it's been 4 years, and I am still struggling with insecured little artists from that one class 😢...
