How I'm overcoming difficult news

Published 2023-05-14
Painting spirit animals and turning adversity into art, also, how it's helping me cope and overcome some difficult news. This week we overhaul the Etsy shop where James helps me declutter, tidy and organise and also a complete rethink of Etsy as a platform. Is Etsy worth it? Should I leave Etsy? Halfway through the making of this video I received some bad news so I have shared what's going on for me too. And in between everything, I am burying my head into my creativity to help keep my balance with some mixed media painting of some spirit animals. As usual, please feel free to leave your comments down below. We can shine lights, share & inspire in this very special community of like~minded beings! Thank you so much for keeping me company in our little corner of YouTube. Love you all to bits, Biggest, Softest, Everythings, Wendy. Xx

  • I really do feel for you. I feel im in a constant battle with things. I feel im thinking the opposite to so many people. The world seems upside down, back to front and distorted. Common sense and truth seems to have disappeared. 💕

“Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul.”- Emily Dickinson. Hang in there, Wendy. You and James are loved by thousands of souls who have never even met you.

I feel for you sweetie! It's like that over here in the USA too.....money money money.......the utter disregard for our humanity and our basic core needs overlooked and ignored!!!! We have to keep fighting the good fight! We can't give up!! We must organize and collectivize with our family and friends! Power in numbers! Take care. Sending you light, love and fighting the good fight!!!! 💖💓💖💗💔❤‍🔥
  • Your points - whether you are an expert or not- are sound and reasonable. Thank you for standing for people, bees, birds and - dare I say - sanity.
  • Just want to say, I have been slowly working my way through your YouTube videos (getting to know you). When I share stories from you with my sister I refer to you as my "gypsy friend". She knows that's you :) What I have learned from you is to allow myself to enjoy my life and I am learning day to day to live in contentment. That's really huge for me and so I thank you for your gentle kindness, your open sharing about dealing with life as we know it today. The Blue Hare is beautiful 💙

I’m with you Wendy. We are in the Great Awakening and soo many are still very much asleep. Sending prayers for what we are all experiencing as it’s been very very intense for so so many of us. Hang in there and know how many are with you. Hugs for your heart ♥️

Wendy - I understand your frustration. But I’m afraid our country has changed. We no longer have any semblance of democracy. Even when councils receive overwhelming negative feedback about a proposal - they still go ahead with it. What matters to people in power is maintaining their false narrative, controlling people and money. Good luck - (but I would also continue looking for a new place to live if I were you) - ☘️

I left Etsy last year. It was a difficult decision, but I really don't regret it. I believe you get buried on Etsy. They don't do much for you really. They are expensive, and the (few) instances when I needed their help, they are non-existent. You are better off on your own. With 142K subscribers here, we will get word out for you and you will do better in reaching your followers and potential customers. I am sorry about the new station and hope it all works out. I don't have to tell you that sometimes things happen for a reason. Sometimes the worst things wind up to be something that was good for us when we are looking back. We were renting a home several years ago and were promised it would be for at least five years, as the owners moved 2 hours north. We fixed up the house to our liking and spent both time and resources making it nice and after about 2.5 years, we were notified that they were selling the house and we had to leave. Needless to say, we were livid. But we actually found another place within a few hours which was owned by family friends of my partner (Keith). We have been here four years and are so much happier and the place is far more suitable. This time we feel secure in that we won't have to leave until we are ready. Our landlord and his family are wonderful. We are grateful we were 'booted'. So maybe it is the way of the universe letting you know it is time to really move. You may find better and I would think that is a better plan to pursue rather than trying to fight. You are a good advocate and can continue with your group(s) who are questioning it, but it won't consume you or your resources. (PS - I don't even have a cell phone. I am a holdout and do fine without one. ;) ) <3 you, Wendy! <3

James is such a steady, calm, loving soul. I’m glad you respected his need to better organize and clear the pathway around his tiny workspace in the shop.
  • @magpie_mel
I'm fully agreement with you, Wendy...and I see the disappointment and despair in your eyes (((soft hugs))). I find it very disheartening how fast things are moving...too fast...we, as humans, aren't meant to adapt and change so quickly and I feel like we're approaching critical mass where "progress" goes. I know it's a highly unpopular opinion but I think things really do need to slow down....unfortunately we've been well and truly trained to want More and Faster by the big corporations that are pulling the puppet strings. *sigh*. AND, I'm also hopeful....I've spent most of the week in my garden and that never fails so mend what's ailing me. Keep shining, lovely Wendy...and keep refusing xo
  • I love your work and channel. I wish I had scads of money so I could buy you and James your peaceful healthy place in the country. Alas just a senior on pension. You're a lovely unique sensitive intuitive being, a sometimes hard path to follow in this world, for a soul like yourself. Know you are loved dearest Wendy❤ Wanda (Canada 🇨🇦)
  • Thank you Wendy and James. Wendy, your artwork speaks of your kind and gentle soul. Your concerns about EMFs are valid. Happy Mother's Day from Canada.
  • @nerd26373
We will be here for you always. Just hang in there.
  • I also feel as if I am in a constant battle especially the last few years and more so now, I feel as if I don't belong or something but also question in my own head if something is wrong with me or are people really not seeing what I see. Sending you so much love, light and Blessings xox

Hope is a good thing. Perhaps the hare will be able to find a safe, quiet burrow, a place to heal, relax, and renew. Sending good energy your way, and hope that you find a positive way forward. Love and light and gentle hugs.💜❤️🧡
  • I understand you very much Wendy. Here in Germny, in the area which I live, we have been struggles with windmill parks they want to put up and they are known to cause health problems. Another thread are insects, that have started to come over from Asia and other warmer places, such as the Mediteranien, for example the asian wasp, which is killing our bees. This is due to warmer climate. It has been so rainy and humid the past years and no snow. When I look back to my childhood years, back in the 60s and 70s, we used to have dryer summers and loads of snow in winter. We even had a skilift in our hometown. It is long gone, taken down and transformed into a meadow. Chin up Wendy, you are a wonderful soal and life always finds a way to get things in order. Blessings from Fairy Tale Cottage, Schurwald Forest, Germany. 🙂 P.S. Chips and Green Juice for lunch, lol, that is a good one, hihi. 🙂

I find myself having to watch chunks of the videos twice or even three times because I lose track of what you are saying, your voice is so soothing I drift away in my own thoughts and art ideas. I recently found your videos and love them, it feels like when a best friend you haven't seen in a long time keeps you company.
  • I just love you Wendy.. but James is just such a darling hubby..sweet kind and funny...always ready to help you..what an great couple you make.. You so sweet too..and makes me laugh...cute lady.❤
  • What a beautiful gift James is… his dimples and all! Such a true gentleman. 💜 Hang in there, this too shall pass.
  • At least you care enough to voice your concerns. That is a lot right there. Thank you for your stories and your creativity. Much love and good energy coming your way from British Columbia, Canada.
