Theres a few songs giving props to roadies, my dad was a roadie for Ozzy, Kiss, Van Halen and so many more and he succumbed to cancer in 2014, but this song will ALWAYS be the one that brings me to tears. This song perfectly encompasses what it means to be a roadie. Rock on in the afterlife Da', rock on Tenacious D.

I love the way this song builds up on emotion and just explodes in the end. Kind of invokes a The Who songwriting approach. This a timeless, great song, not a joke.

With the comedic lyrics aside, this song is proof positive that Tenacious D can write and compose great songs. I'm always amazed at how good their instrumental abilities really are.

I keep coming back to this song because of how it transitions in it's tone. It starts as a tribute to a great roadie but turns into an emotional song about the pain the roadie feels.

I mean, that is just brilliant comedy, cool lyrics and performed as if it´s some biblical wisdom...cracks me up every time, the whole song is just pure brilliance and craftsmanship.
