The Raimi films may be corny, but they nailed all the fundamentals that make Spider-man, Spider-man.... and Danny Elfman went hard as hell on that soundtrack.

You only need one sentece to know how to make a good spiderman story: When Spider-man succeeds, peter parker should fail, and vise versa Edit: I’m not saying the story should be about this rule, im saying that in a spiderman stories, this rule should be kept in mind alongside the main story.

It sucks that in the comics, he was kicked out of the Avengers multiple times for being immature and edgy, he didn't idolize them and even fought most of them. Do they really think teens are happy go lucky fanboys 24/7?

I swear this guy is the only guy that can convince me into changing my mind about good movies into bad movies and bad movies into good ones

Just to be clear y’all, he’s not saying it’s not a good movie, he’s saying it’s not a good spiderman movie

Uncle Ben's death in this Spider-man movie: *Uncle Ben dies* Peter: "I missed the part where that's my problem."

now that no way home is out, the mcu trilogy of spiderman movies feels like a cohesive character arc for this version of Peter Parker. Each movie brings him closer to the reality of the consequences of his double life. First with how miserable he made Liz, second with Mysterio betraying him, and now finally making him grow as a superhero with SPOILERS the death of Aunt May in no way home. Even more so with losing both Ned and Michelle with Dr. Strange's spell at the end. The issue with homecoming is literally because they backed themselves into a corner by having Stark bring up Peter in Civil War. Because of that introduction, Peter was now a significantly carried Spider-Man, which they got rid of in far from home as Stark's death leaves Peter with self-esteem and identity issues. Mysterio's contingency plan makes Peter the most vulnerable he's ever been, which makes no way home the ultimate Spider-Man film, building the Peter Parker we know from the comics and other media over the course of 3 movies, culminating in a finale that really blows the MCU since Endgame, out of the water. Not to say that no way home invalidates this video, but I feel like they definitely capitalized on their rough intro with Spider-Man in the MCU.

I feel like the consequence point is one of your best. Spider-Man is a series built on the idea of taking action, and the consequences of those actions. Spider-Mans entire journey originates from the idea that he made the choice to not be a hero, which cost him his Uncle Ben. His actions had consequences, and that’s why he became the hero that we know him as.

The entire world knows that Peter Parker is Spiderman now EVERYTHING IS FINE
-
When he said:"So i did as any man does when he's confused, I turned on my favorite flick: Spider-Man 2." I felt that.

I'm just not a fan of this version of spiderman. I was introduced to the character from the 90s animated series and read the comics from the 90s. There are things integral to spiderman, things like his bad luck, uncle Ben being his father figure who he learns his morals front "with great power comes great responsibility". Removing these elements just takes away from the character.
-
Key trait: It’s a boy with the world on his shoulders. And Spider-Man isn’t a sidekick. In this movie, it really felt like he was a sidekick.

uncle Ben dies Everything is fine

Spider-Man PS4: Be Greater Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Be Yourself MCU Spider-Man: Be Iron Man

complaining that ned forgives peter for ditching him at a party is just ned being a good friend. it’s a subtle symbol of the strength and immaturity of teen friendships
-
The thing is that Toms Spider-Man doesn’t quip jokes or barely quipped once, he just talks and talks but he doesn’t quip jokes

INSOMNIAC'S SPIDERMAN IS THE BEST SPIDERMAN SINCE SPIDERMAN 2 Edit: Let's add Spiderman: into the Spiderverse into the list

Finally, someone who understands and expresses all my thoughts about the MCU Spiderman. I'm so disappointed by these movies! And the fact that Spectacular Spiderman was canceled for them hits a whole other level of frustration. I doubt we'll see a good rendition of Spidey anytime soon anymore.

Tobey Maguire Spiderman was best portrayal of Spiderman Character. Tom Holland Spiderman portrayal feels bit of Cringe Action Comedy, mostly dialogue.
