What I love about Ledisi and this song, in particular, is this absolute true-life type of story in the lyrics. Some women go through this scenario, trying to figure out us selfish men, and they hang on as much as possible until they have no choice but to walk away for their own peace of mind. Ledisi's delivery strikes at my heart because, as a man, I love a woman who's willing to fix it. I love Ledisi.
