This was great, thank you for making and posting this. I was just introduced to these locks very recently (within the last month) when I came to own a coin op washer and dryer. It actually made me investigate tubular lock picks because the keys to the coin trays work but the tubular key I was given to the control boxes doesn’t (and the former owner said he never used it). However even when I use the coin tray keys I always wonder what kind of lock it is etc, Thanks again for making this πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Nice little wafer lock. Seems to open easily for you now!

It always seems to come back to single picking and good old counting and feeling. The wrench can make a difference. So a wafer lock doesn't have false set pins or any other security pins? I am pretty new to this, but buy the biggest most secure padlock any time I get the chance and pick them. Raking, single pin pick, and bumping have given me access to everyone I've tried so far. I am obsessed with picking. I love the feeling of that first set pin catching. So like I've said I've just done padlocks and some door deadbolts, but am ready to move on to other challenges, and someday make it to safes, the holy grail. I get a nice sense of satisfaction knowing I beat the security of the design, and want some challenges. I finally get why some locksmiths don't like this information getting out. But most criminals are lazy/not very bright and this is an art form almost they wouldn't take the time or have the patience to master. Any ideas?
  • Does jr. Wrestle?!! That's awesome!!! I want to be a wrestling coach as a bucket list kinda thing ..I loved wrestling when I was young and healthy.....also I have a jack for those coin laundry machine locks that I used at the laundromat right off campus in bburg....probably wouldn't be good to share here... Lmao
  • I wanted to be able to open the coin boxes in my apartment building laundry machines, was hoping this video was for me.

Nice job on that double wafer. Those things can be tricky sometimes. It's got a pretty good back story too πŸ˜‰ Great content, keep up the good work.

Very interesting!!! At an appointment building I own I have a coin washer and dryer. One has a 4 pin Medeco and the other has a smiley disk detainer lock. Don’t think they will be picked by anyone πŸ˜… and I won’t pick a lock in use so all safe!!! Thanks for sharing this!!! πŸ‘πŸˆπŸΎπŸ˜·πŸˆπŸΎ

We bought coin operated machines cause we rent rooms out in our house. The renters were abasing the machines. We lost the keys, suspect relatives that rent habve them. Gonna try this since i have had no luck with the manufacturer. Thank you.
