  • I'm looking back on this video now in 2017. I can't believe I beat Hagane when I made this video. I must have been out of my mind. (that much hasn't changed..) I barely even remember playing half of these games now it's been so many years. And I totally forgot how much I liked Firepower 2000. Anyway hope you guys enjoy the video! Thanks for watching -Mike
  • Rock and Roll racing was my dad's second favorite game right after Link to the Past. He was 35 or so when they came out, so as a kid I thought he was a huge nerd. How things seem to come full circle.
  • 10. Rock n Roll Racing 9. Hagane 8. Knights of the Round 7. Magic Sword 6. Run Saber 5. Space Megaforce 4. King of Dragons 3. Demon's Crest 2. Firepower 2000 1. Wild Guns
  • @bcmaledragon
I'm surprised that there was no mention of Soul Blazer, Brain Lord, or Terranigma. I highly recommend all 3.

Please make another obscure games video. Psx, N64 , Sega Saturn, there are stil many consoles with hidden gems to discover Mike !
  • @IAmMadMan
@2:51 "There's a guy who looks like Olaf," Olaf's name is right on the screen.
  • @AiurIkiza
How about teleporting back in time and telling LJN to wait with the Roll n' Rocker, until SNES. Then Nerd would play Rock n' Roll Racing on Roll n' Rocker drinking Roll n' Rock.
  • @scubasteve3056
Duuuude i rented demon's quest as a kid and always wondered what the hell it was cause I forgot the name of it! thanks for including it. Classic, highly reccomended!

I remember the SNES for its super satisfying CHUNK when you insert the game, then the other CHUNK when you switched it on. Simple pleasures lost on new consoles.
  • @bcmaledragon
I remember playing all of these games when I was younger. Knights of the Round, King of Dragons, and Wild Guns were my most favourite of the bunch. The game on this list that I loved the most though was Wild Guns. As for the reason behind the Birdman name I think it has something to do with the way his helmet was shaped in the game kind of resembling a bird skull.
  • @meterburnex3062
Legend of the Mystical Ninja is one of my favorite games of all time. And I'm not sure how many people even know of it's existence.
  • Note: The Lost Vikings look-alike character in Rock'n'Roll Racing wasn't plaigarism-- they wer both developped by Blizzard (then Silicon Synapses or something like that)
  • @coreyellerbe
It's probably not very obscure, but I loved Saturday Night Slam Masters.
  • @aradiobox
Magic Sword is a great port from the arcade. I used to play the heck out of it on the arcade back in the day. Metal Marines is a great snes strategy game I could see ranking on a list like this.
  • @DeeGeeDeFi
Gonna add an Honorable Mention to this list: King Arthur's World. It was more of a strategy game, it wasn't a shooter exactly, but nailing far off enemies with the catapult is always great fun.
