Alejandro Mayorkas is a ‘far left nutjob’

Published 2024-07-23
Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer has criticised Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for being a “far-left nutjob”.

“I mean, the Department of Homeland Security is run, of course, by Alejandro Mayorkas … who is a far-left nutjob,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“He recently became the first cabinet official to be impeached in about a century and a half.”

The "sloped roof" comment is just an assertion of incompetence. Her goal is to assert incompetence.

Her goal is to assert incompetence and pretend to defend or marginalize her incompetence. She has this notion in her mind that all she needs to do is admit she made a mistake, and all is forgiven, and she has been held to account. She wants the investigation to focus on her incompetence. She doesn't want it to jump off the track onto conspiracy to murder. When you look at the facts, under the light of conspiracy to murder, suddenly there is no incompetence. The facts all make sense, and the details chime with the truth. We don't have anything more to ask her. She should assert her right to remain silent. We should proceed with conspiracy to murder charges.
