  • I'm in a college astronomy class. The term "paralax" appeared on a test. The professor never defined it and assumed everyone knew what it was. Because of this show I was the only person to get that question right. Thanks Gamesack.

I don't know if anyone commented on Earthworm Jim 2 or if you have already beat it but the key to besting that file cabinet is to run so the papers can fly in the air and the file cabinet will open the drawer to suck in the paper. That's your chance to jump on it and jump to the platform above. Hope that makes sense.
  • @GoodMomo
For anyone stuck on the cabinets on EWJ2: You need to run next to them to get newspapers to fly at them, that triggers them to open their drawers to "eat" the papers, and that's how you jump on them.

I loved earthworm Jim 2. I remember the secret to the flying king level was to leave the balloon behind and go kill all the enemies. Once the enemies are all gone you can go back for the balloon.

When it comes to retro games, this video could last all day.
  • Usually when I go back to play games I thought were tough as a kid, I'm worse at them as an adult.
  • @Doongie4ever
Nothing like going back to a game years later and then ruling it's ass.

It's so great that you upload on Sunday mornings Finland time. Your show is the PERFECT hangover-entertainment. Last night, I drank too much and made the oldest mistake in the book, mixing my alcohols. Classic. I passed out and had a dream where I heard the terrible news that Dave passed away. He died in a convention, where he piled a bunch of car tires next to his car and tried to jump them in an impressive show of athletics and acrobatics. Not sure why or how. But he died. Apparently by having a wall of car tires falling on top of him. It was a terrible dream. Glad to wake up and realize in hungover stupor that it wasn't real and curling up to enjoy the show once again.

“This makes me want to drive to the zoo and kill real monkeys” 😂 I haven’t laughed so hard in a video in a long time. Thank you for that wonderful line!
  • I loved how I beat castlevania symphony of the night by fighting Richter without the holy glasses. Then replaying years later only to find out there was so much more like the inverted castle!
  • when jim whirls up some papers from the ground, the file cabinet will stop to open and take them ;-)
  • Great video as always guys! Most games I cannot beat are on the NES! Where's my Game Genie!?
  • @Coletanm
holy shit that ending skit. best one in a while!
  • @DeadOmega
Great idea for an episode. Gave added incentive to see the episode through aside from just wanting to see more classics. The aspect of "will they conquer these unbeaten titles?" adds a new little layer to the Game Sack formula. Like it.
  • @DomnioEffect
the acting from dave in that last skit was impressive. It really looked like he was going to cry!
  • @n64glennplant
My Sunday's are not complete until the game sack is opened!
  • @AlphaOmegaSin
Dave looks like he was about to empty his......Game Sack
  • @ubermenschmexa
Ninja Gaiden? Jump, press down and slash like crazy. You won't see Ryu's animation but it you will hear the sound of his sword slashing really fast, and the hits count. Really helpful in those areas.
  • @thaddeusmcgrath
Thank you Game Genie and hex editor, to make my game less a hassle!
  • @nealmoore2215
I really want to see another one of these videos. keep up the good work guys.
