Boxers would be afraid of their own tails if they weren't attached. Such brave ones they would lead us to believe but just big babies.

Appears to be curiosity, from my observation. When a boxer is frightened, fight or flight is their response. I didn't witness either running away from or barking at the statues.

The Wife and I brought a life sized Boxer statue home and put it in the backyard without my Boxers seeing it. They went nuts when we let em out, they both started growling and the hair on their backs was up. It took about an hour before they realized it wasnt going to attack them. The first thing my male Boxer Gadsden did? He went up to it and peed on it.

Boxers do not like things especially Danes whose head is higher than theirs. Good looking dog by the way.
