Newborn screenings for CF have only been done in the last 10 years and the results can be confusing because most states screen for only 40 or 50 of the most cystic fibrosis mutations.

If a child has two mutations.. is there still a change they don’t have CF?

the second screen has normal result but my baby still hard to breath and always crying maybe the stomach is painful..what shoul i do

If I and my husband has no CF genes, does that mean our baby couldn't possibly have that CF?
