  • The line is, "O' Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" It's not, "where art thou Romeo," as stated in this video. Wherefore means why.
  • The Grease Mandela effect might be explained by the fact that the song Greased Lightning starts out differently in the movie than how it does in the official soundtrack. Grease super fan here lol

How can fans of Metallica not know about Damage, Inc? That's one of their best songs.

lyric websites often get them wrong
  • I'm having a mandela effect about when this channel would have videos that would actually creep me out. But, maybe I'm mis-remembering.

I'm 67, and my mom was 21 years older than me. Ever since I can remember,my mom had talked about "The Portrait of Dorian Gray". So yeah, that's surprising. I've seen people who found the different Fruit of the Loom logo in old clothes.

I used to work in a record shop during the time when Springsteen came out with this album. The initial photos were with a handkerchief. Those were the posters that we got to put on the walls. Then they decided it was the same as a gang symbol and they changed it to the baseball cap for the record album cover.

Juliet's line is "Wherefore art thou Romeo?" not "Where are you, Romeo?" and, yes, a lot of people get it wrong, since modern English doesn't use 'wherefore' anymore. I admit the balcony thing threw me. I'mma have to pull out the old Shakespeare volume again. ;p
  • In my reality Simmons always wore a matching headband and wristbands. They were always the same color as his tank top. Most of the time they were yellow but he also had red, blue, white, and pink. The only time they didn't match his shirt was when he wore the red shirt he would sometimes wear the white headband and wristbands or when he wore the yellow shirt they would be red. But I only remember seeing those a couple of times. My mom was heavy into Simmons and had all his VHS tapes. I was forced to watch him because we only had one TV in the house. When I told my mom about this mandela effect she accused me of lying and trying to prank her. When I showed her the proof she said the world must be coming to an end.
  • Ellen Travolta was one of the waitresses. She even had one line speaking role during the Rydell High Dance off.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Fruit of the Loom logo had a cornucopia. The Man in the Iron Mask - I never read the book but I watched the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and he wears an iron mask, never a velvet one. The Lincoln Memorial - He ABSOLUTELY had both hands in an open resting position. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind about that. I've seen pictures many times over my lifetime and he NEVER had a fist. Metallica: Master of Puppets - I wore that album out back in the day because my two fav songs back then were the title song Master of Puppets, and Leper Messiah... and have never heard of Damage Inc., so I went back to listen to it just now and I have never heard that song before. Richard Simmons - Back in the 80's Richard Simmons was as common as peanut butter and jelly. EVERYBODY knew who Richard Simmons was because he was all over television back then. He was VERY flamboyant, and he indeed wore a white headband with white wristbands, and red & white striped shorts with a tank top. In fact seeing pictures of him without one is very odd.

In high school I had to read ‘A Portrait of Dorian Grey’ in 1983. When the book was written people almost always referred to a portrait as a portrait not a picture.
  • The Mandela Effect is driving me crazy and Nothing Else Matters ! See what I did there, hey at least I amuse myself !

I just noticed that my autocorrect keeps trying to correct "pajamas" to "pyjamas". I Googled it and apparently pyjamas is used everywhere outside the US including the UK. I'm from the UK and I swear I have never seen the spelling "pyjamas". I checked several British clothing store sites and they all list them as pyjamas. I feel like I'm going crazy.

My mom had some big little books in her childhood which survived the years. One was a Tarzan story in which he went to Algiers or some such place. In this book he wore a suit and spoke perfect English. I was pretty young when I read the book, so I may not be remembering everything correctly. We watched J. W.’s Tarzan movies on Saturday mornings when we were kids, the 1950’s were great times
  • I'm a Catholic and I hate to say but I see many similar things about Richard Simmons and many Priests.

  • @RemyJackson
I love the fact that a jerk being a dick to Richard Simmons inadvertently helped launch Simmons to fame
