The full history of the Splinter Cell franchise. From the initial shadow stalking gameplay of 2002's Splinter Cell, to the 2018 downloadable bonus mission for Ghost Recon Wildlands. This documentary covers everything, including development history, gameplay features, graphical design, version differences between various platforms, and an in-depth look at each of the available multiplayer modes.

Celebrate one of the greatest stealth action franchises of all time by learning about how it all got started!

Special thanks to my brother Chris, my girlfriend Stacy, my good friends CasualKlutz (Dan), and Syfydan (also Dan) for helping me record all the multiplayer footage.

I don't care how many Splinter Cell retrospectives I have watched, I will watch another
  • In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, when Lambert said "You can't get a medal for this", and Sam said "Medals don't help me sleep at night Lambert", it showed that Sam cares more about people and partially the mission than medals. I really like that line.
  • The Spies vs. Mercenaries mode is and always will be my favorite online experience. It was clever, unique and a blast to play with friends!

My God, Fisher! Have you gone insane? The mission is over!

Damn, Chaos Theory still looks good after all this years.

This video was incredibly well made. Words can't describe it, really. This is by far the best documentary on Splinter Cell. Well done.
  • If you interpret Conviction as Sam losing his humanity and going off the rails, the faced paced action makes a total sense as he utilizes every skill he has without nothing to hold him back

Splinter Cell Fans: "Please sir, I want some more." Ubisoft: "Nah."

What a metric f**kload of work this must have been. Great job!

I was in the 8th grade when the first SC came out, I remember my dad buying it and we took turns playing after school. This is still one of my favorite franchises, I play the first 3 games at least once a year.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist remains one of my absolute favorite games and I miss it. I wish there was more!
  • @halolime117
Chaos Theory has to be the best stealth game ever tbh, it still blows my mind
  • The gameplay of Blacklist mixed with the atmosphere and characters of the old Splinter Cell games would be a dream come true for me.

It's happening!!!! Splinter Cell Remake is FINALLY being made at Ubisoft Toronto! loud party noises!
  • Personally, for Double Agent, I think a dual trust meter makes more sense. Theres going to be some objectives that will conflict like killing an undercover agent. But some objectives, like gaining information on the terrorist cell without them knowing shouldn't really affect their trust of you.

Aww man, I just finished watching CriticalNobody's video! ...welp, here goes another hour.

God damn, this is the perfect upload. If there's one thing i want it's a new Splinter Cell in the vein of Chaos Theory. C'mon Ubisoft.

I can still fondly remember the day I picked up DOOM 3 and Chaos Theory for my Xbox. They were both so mind blowing it was near impossible to play just one of them for an extended period of time. Great times.
