  • I’m glad Selma redeemed herself and became a better sister to Maya. Maya is such a strong and brave and powerful girl. She is completely up afraid to stand up to anyone and does not let anyone mess with her
  • "everybody is attractive in their own way" is what makes people need to love themselves and not feel insecure
  • Maya, you said about yourself is true. So true no one get bully. We have a beautiful souls.
  • "No one deserves to be teased just cause of how they look" True words that speak to me

I have black curly hair and brown skin and people still say i am beautiful. Where i come from the darkest complexioned people are really beautiful. Accept who you are. Its more about inner beauty.

Beautiful story !💞 People in my school laughed at me beacuse I had a scar on my leg (because of my surgery). Everyday They would just stare , whisper and then laugh. I always cried myself to sleep eveyrynight because it hurts so bad but then I started to embrace the fact that I'm unique. ❤️Thanks for the amazing story 🦋💜

Not only is she ‘brown’ on the thumbnail is a beautiful chocolate skin and to add on this they made it seem like being pale is pretty because she describes them as “fair skin” which is completely wrong with this being spoken to everyone and I mean it brown white dark brown pale white I think everyone should love you and you should love your self too

I like how Thelma changed. And to quote Dr. King “I have a dream…my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character!” And to quote a line from the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” White skinned, red skinned, brown skinned, black skinned. We are all beautiful! And God made us all special and unique in our own way. All lives matter!

wow...this story still shocks me to the core each time....a mean spirit has no name and can be anyone. I want to pick her mind to wonder why she had so much hatred for her mother, sister and anyone that did not look like her and her allegiance to that girl. Karma will get them back though sadly enough the reformed sister too.
