The lock on just needs to be click-to-lock Imagine clicking, locking on, running around a rock, and then firing

One useful trick I use with the Spear is whenever I pick it in the loadout screen I pick any other AT. Works like a charm.

All I gotta say, just make it work on friendly pings. If it is pinged, (Q and marked) it should lock on to it.

I guess the Super Earth military decided to cut corners and use old Pentium processors from 1993 as the CPU for the Spear.

Creating the spear to be a wire guided missile instead of lock-on is a great suggestion.

Theres the "best spear user" vid, and in the comments he goes in depth on how the spear tracking works, it really made locking on nuch more consistant

Once killed 3 BTs with the hold-lock "feature" back to back. When the spear works, it's the best weapon in the game. It's like playing craps and thinking the angle of your wrist when you release affects how many times the dice turn over. That's nonsense, of course it doesn't have any effect. Unless...

All the spear needs is a dumb fire mode for when you’re in a pinch. Then it’s basically the recoiless with slightly worse ammo economy

The leaked commando rocket launcher is a anti tank weapon that follows your cursor so I don't think they'll make the spear a lock on
